  1. Beat a Yamahama 660 once. And a Renny 800. My biggest wins by far for a Raptor 350. Haven't lined up the 700 yet. All I know is shifting is the key. Clutches suck lol

hahahah a real man like me uses a clutch lets see how good u r then lol:biggrin:

  2. wat have u guys beat with ur quad???................. i have beat an 08 400ex with a yoshi exhaust and rejetted, an 07 400ex with hmf performance pipe rejetted, yamaha dirt bike 125

4-stroke, a honda 100 dirt bike 4-stroke, outlaw 525 with stock pipe with baffle out and rejetted, 300ex with mods, and a couple of other good quads....... my 400ex has white bros exhaust and rest is stock.... let me here wat u guys have beat?

  3. Quite possible. I would remove the rear axle and have a peek at the bearings. If one makes any noise while you spin em replace both

If one bearing is shot it might be causing a drag on the chain. Have you noticed any power loss?

There could be alot of factors but its best to eliminate what is not causing the problem first if your not sure.

no i havent realy noticed a loss of power just real loud grinding noise

  4. Ok so if it pulls while doing wheelies you eliminate the front end. Mine would always pull to the left because of a slightly bent axle. How it did i have no idea. But i pressed it straight and made it round again. No more pull.

    Now your case could be:

    Rear tire pressure

Out of round tire (over inflated once by accident)

    Axle or carrier bearings siezing

    Frame damage

ok is it possible tht the pulllin to the left could be connected with the sounds the rear is makin like the bearings perhaps?

  5. I have never been successful in running a chain drive on jackstands as the chain seems to load up then unload and makes a nasty clanking noise especially when i let off the throttle. When the rear wheels are on the ground (normal driving) the chain is fine. What am I doing wrong?

hahah idk ive never had tht problem lol

  6. Don`t do anything until you get a manual on it ! Then you can read step by step on how to do it !! Check it first ! to make sure its the problem !! I`m just guessing on the problem by what i`ve read here !

k i will get a manual on how to do it...thanks

  7. The liquid might of been water stuck inside the carrier...possibly. There is a gasket between tje pinch bolts that might be damaged.

Ckeck the condition off the rear sprocket teeth make sure they aent damaged. Lastly you should take apart your rear axle as the sprocket hub might be slipping on the splines

the liquid came out from under the bolts wen i lossened them...... if its the gasket wat will it do if i keep drivin it..... the teeth dont look like they r damaged any the chain is just real loose i need to buy a new one.....i had it on concrete blocks and had it in second gear id watch the chain on top of the back sprocket and it would bounce and then make a grinding sound.....

  8. all i was trying to say is if the rear sprocket is moving or not, it's either ther rear end or at the crank... you should be able to somewhat feel it on the bike if it's at one end or the other... yes? no?

its on the rear end i just cant tell if its the sprocket or somethin to do with the bearings in the axle or somethin like tht

  9. Have you checked your rear bearings ?

No..... it started doin this just recently wen i was on the dirtroad i came back and had to go up a hill to get to my barn and it stated making a grinding sound real bad

  10. hey guys got another ? bout my ex..... today i was losenin up the bolts on the back of the swing arm to tighten my chain and a bunch of liquid started runnin out..... it ran out for like 5 min any idea wat tht is?

Also i have been having problems with the sprockets feelin like they r slipping..... today i was tryin to make sure the loose chain and wore sprockets were the problem...... i held in the front brake and started to take off slowly and the back by the sprocket was makin a grinding sound but chain doesnt look like it is slipppin at all....... wen i am turnin it gets worse any ideas wat tht might be?
