I bought a good running 01 warrior for cheap sounded like it just needed a valve adjustment. Got it home started to check the valves and ugh oh the jam nut on the intake valve is gone. I checked and checked but could not find it. Could the ticking noise I thought was a bad valve adjustment be that nut rattling around somewhere ? Is the next step to start taking the engine apart in search of a nut? For all I know the previous owner took off the nut and lost it. Unlikely but possible. What shall I do next?
