What I have is a set of red/black hand guards. The red is faded kind of. The mounting kit is a kind of rough also. One of the sides you will have to slide.

I bet a good buff job or some armor all would make them look red again, and then you could have some new looking hand guards for way less.

$20.00+shipping.

I plan on using my ATV to hunt. What have you found to be the best method for carrying your rifle that is secure and allows removing quickly to pursue an animal?

I randomly got the urge to rebuild my quad and seem to have lost my nuts and washers for mounting the head somehow. Has anyone replaced them with just some normal hardware from a local store and had luck? Really im just worried about the washer thickness and the depth of the acorn cap nuts.  I found some used sets on ebay but they want like 20+ dollars for em and then id have to wait for shipping aswell, trying to get it done before we get too much snow.
I am also just going to keep looking around as i know i have seen them recently, i just must have moved them to keep em safe one day and forgot where i stuck em.

I recently read an article about restoring or at least improving the looks of faded and discolored plastic body parts. In the article it suggested using a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and paint thinner. You mix it up and apply it with a brush or rag to rub it in and remove the oxidation. I curious to find out if anyone has had experience with doing this and what was their short/long term results of doing so. I would hate to try it and find out that a few weeks/months down the road my plastic body parts self destruct.

So.. it a weird one.. The quad surges as you go down the road. By the looks of my tracks, it's one wheel only. High range, low range, 2 wd , 4 wd.. It just doesn't matter..
You can see in the pictures the marks it leaves. That was in a straight line, with hardly any acceleration.
      Any ideas?

Hey all, from SW Virginia here. I just picked up a '01 Bombardier Quest 650 on the cheap (seller couldn't get it to start). After correctly plumbing the fuel pump (new pump the prior owner installed but had the hoses going backwards lol) and cleaning the carb and fuel tank, repaired all the batt - and batt+ connections she lives!!  I had swore to the wife unit I wouldn't be dragging another "project" home but I couldn't pass it up, it had new tires, new starter, new fuel pump and low hrs. All's good after she took it for a ride! 😆 It rides like a tank, very stable and tons of power.
