I have a 1996 Suzuki QuadRunner 250 LT-4WD I am working on. I have it running now and putting it back together and noticed there’s a number of wires and connections that don’t seem to be used but want to know what they are for. I have taken several pictures to show these on the front of the atv. Any help knowing what they are would be much appreciated.

Maybe its rust and corrosion and just needs a good flush. Chris fix has a great video showing how to do this on a full size vehicle on YouTube. It would be the same process on an ATV. Its just smaller. Here's the video.

Is the rotella oil ok for wet clutches? I looked at some but don't know enough to know whether it is safe to use. I have a 1996 Suzki quad runner 250 lt-4wd

ATV storage hack - cheap box idea

I like that pad you have to extend the seat for a little bit of passenger comfort. -
Thank you for your suggestion kmssd. That looks like a pretty good option.

I would wonder about the coolant looking like mud. I would change all the fluids and run it a little. If you get milky coolant I would wonder about a possibly blown head gasket.

1996 quad runner 250 lt-4wd front brake bleeding
Otter9099 replied to Otter9099's topic in Suzuki ATV Forum
It is looking like my rubber brake lines are swollen or collapsed shut. Are there aftermarket brake lines available or known kits for another similar atv that will work on mine? -
I just put a pair of Kenda Bear Claws on my 1996 Suzuki quad runner 250 and love them. Hoping they wear well.

Trying to get the brakes working. There was no fluid in the reservoir so I added DOT 4 per the reservoir lid. I worked the lever and got firm pressure. So I loosened bleeder valve on the front right wheel and get nothing out when I squeeze the lever. So then I went to distribution splitter and lessened on the lines and still nothing comes out when lever is squeezed. Is there a good process to clear the lines?

I plan on using my ATV to hunt. What have you found to be the best method for carrying your rifle that is secure and allows removing quickly to pursue an animal?

I am new to the area and looking for some areas to ride and explore by atv. Does anyone recomend any trails?
