Hi! I just purchased a 2018 Polaris Sportsman 450 AWD. The instrument cluster reveals 306 miles, ENG 75.5 hrs, and Service Due 83.4. Oil and coolant are clean and levels are good. Air filter is also clean. Everything shows the ATV is in excellent working order. But... every time I start it, the check engine light lights up (no code is displayed). I am worried the light may indicate something serious, but I can't figure out what. Any ideas/suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

I recently scored a 450. The oil was thick as mud coolant looked like milk this thing is ruff most the bushing are bad. I've just changed the oil. I will be adjusting the valves next. Any advice on what I should look over or what wear items I should be replacing besides the typical fluids filters and such. I'm new to atvs. At this point I have no idea when the machine had been serviced last.

I have a 2018 Sportsman 450 HO and from time-to-time I hear what sounds like exhaust noise through the cowl near the gas tank. Could it be an exhaust leak or am I hearing something vibrating?

It there a drain for the coolant on 2017 Sportsman 450 HO or do you just remove a hose? Thanks

I'm trying to get my atv to TDC to check valves. Im attempting to do this with the engine still on chassis. Can someone tell me where I can remove a plug to ensure I am on TDC? Thanks

I'm retired, live in north Peru and recently bought a 2 year old 450 sportsman HO 2017 with 20,000 miles on the clock. It has been part of a fleet for agricultural commuting and has had proper maintenance as it still looks and runs pretty good. Checking out for the efi parts i found the fuel injector was not stock and lifted with 2 bushings to make parts fit. Does anyone know if there is an automotive fuel injector that might fit,with the same flow rate and specs,as polaris parts are nearly impossible to get here. Nowhere on the internet can i find cross reference parts from Bosch or Delphi as polaris part numbers appear to be a captive market. Would greatly appreciate some advice Regards, Robbie
