skip the warrior and find a 400ex :) I bought mine for 1500 used...and never really had any trouble with it, just general maintenance stuff, brake pads/oil/tires, etc...and she's got a whole race season under her belt! they say 400ex's are bulletproof and I believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

theres nothing wrong with a warrior and whatever deal presents itself at the time is what I would go with. As someone else the warriors are alittle heavy and not a good choice if you plan on racing. I you may race I would find a nice 400, which go for about the same used. If you plan on just riding there is nothing wrong with the warrior it will do everything you want it to do. Which ever way you go, I would find something that is stock. That way you know what you are getting and you can starting modifying it to you preference and is more dependable.

:iagreec:when i got my 400 it was all pretty much stock, even the pipe...I've loved being able to add the things I want and make it my own:yes:

I'm trying to help a buddy out with his bike (he's not really on the internet or familiar with these forums) and I'll admit that I am not super familiar with the transmission and clutches in these bikes. I owned a Brute a few years ago, but never had an issue like this that I had to troubleshoot.
So basically my buddy bought a group lot of 650's to build one good bike out of. He got it all put together and has it running but when he pushes on the throttle the clutch doesn't engage till the RPM's are quite high and even when its moving it doesn't really speed up, almost seems like its in "limp mode". He's tried 2 different transmissions so I don't think that's the problem.
Is there any adjustment on the clutch engagement? Anything else I can tell him to look at? Let me know if you need anymore information if you think you can help.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.

So we are almost a month into winter and I've been so busy working on my house that up until today, I didn't realize that we just haven;t gotten any real snow yet to warrant putting the plow on my grizzly. So that got me thinking, what are the latest plows out there and what ATV plows are the best? I've got 2 snow plows for my grizzly, a quadboss pile driver atv plow set up and a snowsport ATV plow. They are both a bit dated now and I tend to stick with the snowsport due to ease of use and I just like it so much. So if you have a plow on your ATV, please let us know what it is and post a picture with your atv/plow would be awesome. Would also like to know what you like and dislike about it.
This is back a while when I did a write up on these 2 plows.... in 2009 I got the snowsport and in 2012 I got the quadboss.
