It sounds like there is pressure on the drive train when you put the bike in park and it rolls back a hair before the park/drivetrain stops the bike. And when you go to put it in gear there is a lot of pressure on the axles.

Try next time to come to a complete stop and lock the parking brake before you take it out of gear. And put it in gear before you take the brake off as well.  Maybe ?

Thanks, Frank. I think you are correct about the pressure on the drive train. A couple of things about this bike, however: There is no hand brake lock as with most ATVs. The shift stick arrangement (not pedal) has a Reverse and Park position. It's sometimes very difficult to move the shift lever out of those positions. When in reverse, I can sometimes rock the ATV back and quickly shift out of reverse. Getting out of Park isn't that easy.

I had a friend that has a Honda recon 250 es and he coudnt get the bike out of reverse into drive without revving the bike and slamming it into drive before it got going to fast...  I adjusted the idle (it was idling wayyy too fast) and problem solved.  dunno if this is your problem but if its not getting down to that good 'ol putt putt idle, u might be keeping too much friction in your clutch causing tension and hard gear change..

I also have a Cforce 800. And I experience the same. The bike has to move a hair to get the gear shift to drop in to park and reverse. It’s actually not unlike the Canam I had before this. So when you’re stopped on a hill trying to shift into park or whatever, just stand up and give ‘er a little wiggle front to back. That said I really wish these had a handbrake lock like most other bikes. ESP for hauling. CFMOTO says not to tie it down and haul it in park cuz you can damage the “gear” lock. Normally I would put it in neutral and lock the brake, but this one I have to crank down and chock the front wheels in the truck bed. And some of them are actually made with parking brakes now if you look at the US manuals for the newer models. Just really inconsistent with the configs.

      Hey I have a 1997 big bear 350 4x4
I replaced the shifter shaft and the shift arm linkage and the rod when I installed them all I was unaware that you had to line the dot on the shifter shaft with the gap on the linkage arm gap put it all back  together and rode it I can't get it to shift in the right gears  I can move the shift cam by hand and goes in different gears but with the shifter shaft in it riding I can't put it in R or N
Anyone know how to line up the shifter shaft and the shift cam s

2022 Sector 550, 414 miles on it and the gas gauge reads empty.  I topped off the gas and it didn't change.
There is no fuse that I could find.  No access at the gauge cluster.
Wiring on the top of the tank looks good, properly connected.
Could the sending unit in the tank be stuck or broken?
Has anybody removed the tank lid?  Any tricks?
      Any other ideas?
      Thanks for any help,
      Clyde

      Hey all!
I'm on a mission to buy my first UTV soundbar as a gift for my dad(a newbie on ATV). I'm aiming for something that offers great sound quality without breaking the bank – my budget is around $250. Right now, I'm considering options like ecoxgear, kemimoto, and boss.
Does anyone have experience with these brands or specific models that you'd recommend? Any advice or suggestions would be super appreciated!

I added more fresh gas it sat one day now, it's acting up again. Before cleaning out carburetor it wouldn't idle good and had gas leaks from carburetor. Now it idles pretty good but, if I increase throttle speed at a certain amount it starts missing bad. I'm going to try and post a short video. Just about ready to give up on this thing.😒  you can see reflection perking in video.

Hello folks, my machine wound up with I think water in the tank etc. It runs but speeds up and slows back down randomly. When not running I don't see gas dripping  from the drain nipple on bottom of float bowl and drain screw is closed tight. With normal idle speed I see no leaking. When the idle speed increases quite a bit on it's own, gas appears to start slowly dripping from float bowl drain nipple? I'm wondering if the carb is flooding and the gas is actually coming from higher up and just appears, to be coming out of nipple but, is actually running down the sides of the nipple? I put a kit in the factory Mikuni carb last year after sitting for a while and I think the gas in the jug I used had drawn moisture. I plan to pull the carb tomorrow and clean everything out. I was just curious if anyone else thinks it's probably something in the carb and is, acutally a flooding problem? Thanks Folks! 🙂
