I'm buying some mudlites tomorrow I can get 25 XL for 550 with type 5 rims shipped or should I go ahead and get the 26 XL for 50 bucks more. I been comparing weights and the 26 XL dont seem to be that much heavier than the 25 XL These are the weights I found from two different websites. These are going on a 06 Yamaha Wolverine 450 4X4

26x10-12 XL F/R 23

26x12-12 XL R 27

============

XL 25x8-12 19.5

XL 25x10-12 22.5

u also have to pay attention to stress on the engine and tranny cause the bigger the tires the more the engine has to work. wat terrain do u drive one (rocky, muddy, sand). Finally if you get the 26's would you have enough space between the plastic and tire?

is a clutch kit hard to install?
Never put one in myself, but have riden belt drives that have a clutch kit. Have been told if you can change a belt , you can put a clutch kit on. It makes one heck of a difference in how they perform.

is it expensive? and wat does it do?
I don't know the cost. It changes the shift points basically. Makes a belt drive engage sooner and work/ perform better. Gorrilla axles has the best clutch kit, highlifter has a good one to.

I dont understand why i would need a clutch kit with the 25's since the kodiaks came with 25's stock unless they put a lighter clutch in the Wolfy

yes the 25 XL has the same lug as the 26 XL 1 1/8 The 25 AT has the 3/4 lug

The chasis is the same, but the fine tuning is different than the Kodiaks . Sorry , just trying to save you some money down the road. Being a single range not a hi/low range tranny a clutch kit saves wear and tear on the belt. Just telling you what most mud boggers do.Same thing for the Scrambler owners to. Not to mention you won't notice as much of a power loss with a clutch kit going to bigger tires.

Ok thats what I wasnt sure of it yamaha tuned it different for the 23 inch tires Looks like i'll go with the 25's for now and then the clutch
Watch how hard you play in the mud until you get a clutch kit. We have a yamaha dealer that installs clutch kits for free if you buy tires and rims from them , wether a new quad or used. They swear by them.

now you know whatwould add to the performance and the look of this quad.

as soon as i seen the pic i thought.

that exhaust stands out. looks a little crappy. [no offense] :cute:

now picture an HMF sport series slip on.

Polished Aluminum with a Blue Turndown cap. and painted the back rack Black.

Now that would look.

BAAAADDDDDDD

I did paint the front bumper black along with the rear axle and differental. I was thinking about painting the rack black but as much as I use it I dont think the paint would last long. Maybe I should rhino coat it. After I get new black plastic the the whole thing will be done in black. I agree a pipe is one of the next things to get. Do they come in black?

they usually come in a lot of colors but not for that machine.

only brushed and polished aluminum

but they make color tips.

i would say polished alumunum and a blue turndown tip.

that would look soooo good on there..

it is somewhere around 270$ i think.

not bad at all.

I went to NYC over the weekend to see the tree at Rockefeller with tha family, and on the way down from about 50 miles north could not help but keep looking in the sky while driving at diffent lights. Planes, small planes, choppers? Some of them looked like slow moving drones but not really sure. If you are in the tri-state area, you can't help but wonder what's going on... thoughts?

Bucking started about a month ago and works ok after 1/2 hour warmup.  Today while working on it i discovered that if i put the ignition switch in LIGHT position it runs fine right from the start.
I'm stumped!  Any idea why this could be?

I ordered an ATV through ElectriRide a ( Pioneer 1500w Power E-Grizzly Electric ATV ), on February 13, 2024.  They ( ElectriRide ), ordered it from the manufacture on February 28, 2024. Not sure when it shipped, but it arrive here at my house on June 25, 2024.  I live in Hawaii.
Unpacking it, I quickly became aware that this was not the ATV that I ordered.  The package had some damaged, but not major.  After unpacking it, it was very obvious that this was not the ATV that I had ordered, plus it was missing some a number of parts, namely the rear rack & no instruction or electrical circuit layout, just to name a few.  A couple of days later I found ( 2 ) small two burnt holes in the upper frame, right side, also.  Several days later I tried to charge the batteries on the ATV, after plugging it in for over 4  hours, “NO CHARGE” , I checked the charger’s output voltage, it read “ “ 0 “ volts, the charger needs to be replaced also.
The next day, I reported all of this to ElectriRide, & they asked for photos, which I later that day send to them.  They said they would look into it and get back to me. For the last 2 1/2 weeks, I have been calling them (playing phone tag ) & emailing them, basically getting the same message back from them.  They sent me e-mails “ we will get back to you “ or “ Please rest assured that we are committed to resolving this matter to your satisfaction. “.  As of today, that message was 10 day ago, and it’s been 3 weeks after receiving the wrong ATV.  And 5 months from the time of ordering the ATV.
The ATV that this looks the most similar/closest to the one that I received is the ( Pioneer 48v 1000w Adult ATV Electric ) in their catalog, but there are a number of differences to it also.  ( Mostly it’s a 1000 watts motor, not a 1500 watts motor ATV, plus a number of other things also ).  The suspension & wheels are completely different, along with some of the electrical components, and it was missing the rear rack also.  Along with some other minor things.
I seem to be getting nowhere with communicating with them, (ElectriRide ) in getting this mix-up / changes resolved after calling / emailing them pretty much daily for over 3+ weeks, I am turning to you, the ATV community for any suggestions for helping me to solve my problem.
Please leave any suggestion / ideas, you thing might help me solve this problem, or who to contact that might be able to help..
