Yamaha Bear Tracker Starter Solenoid

I need to replace the starter solenoid on a 2000 Bear tracker.  The OEM is about $70 and aftermarket ranges between $10-$20.  Should I buy the OEM or is there an aftermarket brand that is good?

I put one in my 2001 bear tracker. Picked it up from amazon. Aftermarket obviously. I haven’t had a problem.  There pretty simple mechanisms  to a starter relay not rocket science so the aftermarket ones are pretty good.

go aftermarket.  cheap, but reliable, although there are more lemons..  but still worth it.

Many machines are different. Some parts might be identical but the part could be wired wrong. For the most part it's okay to order aftermarket. All of my machines get oem parts. But for the chineese one. I don't care. Parts are cheap and most likely break again.
