Samoa Sand Dunes, California

Not a really big area, but big enough for me to have fun with my kids and a quiet nights rest in camp. It was also fairly easy to get to. We had a great time!

Not too Far from me!!! Not a Word Said that you were going....I would have at least made a Day Trip to meet up with ya and Ride:aargh:

Nice pics......I especially like the one with your Kid on the Rock....That is an awesome Picture....

MUCHO BETTERO? We're going to botho. That is our Honeymoon. We're gonna drive to Pismo and play for a day or 2 then drive up north to Oregon. Riding during the day, and 5 star luxury at night. You are more than welcome to come play any where with us.

This is NEWACRIDERS Thread and as much as I want to Comment on that I will REFRAIN:wink:

To be Honest with you.....Pismo will FAIL in Comparison to the Oregon Dunes.....If it were me....I would CUT that out of the Schedule.....Save the money and Spend the Whole time in Oregon.....

Where in Oregon are you going....?????

Winchester is Central to all the other Dunes....Your are 30 min. Max from the North and South Dunes from Winchester.....

If your not Camping this is the best place to Camp and be able to ride from your front door to the Dunes......This is where I stay.....They have Cabins for rent....All you need to bring is Food.....

Sorry, it was a last minute change of plans... I think we will DEFINATELY go again sometime, I will let you know!

The "Rock" was actually a HUGE Tree stump! it changed directions several times with the tides, but stayed in the same general area the whole week.

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

Okay so I bought this 1997 sazuki king quad from a guy and he had it for a few years.
He had it registered and on the trails last year but he said it bogged and backfired when he would try to drive it. so it sat for a year.
I bought it for 800 bucks and got it running that night and it ran great for a few days
But I parked it the other night and went to start it again and it was really hard to fire up and when I did it was bogging and idling high then low again.
So I took the carb out and cleaned it (ended up doing it twice because it was still doing the same thing)
Now today I have it running slightly better, but it is still like 20%
I have been looking it up and trying to figure it out but I can't find the issue, has anyone else had this problem? I'll attach a video of it running and giving some throttle

I have 3 atv's 2 have winches , the problem I sometime have is loading onto the trailer if the bed is wet or of frosty. there have been times the winch is needed. but , what to do if the w/o ATV  or any other perhaps dead ride needs to go onto the trailer . 99.5%  of it came from harbor fright.
