i have a 2012 cf moto x5 and our village made atvs road legal and im interested in putting reverse lights on it, is there some way to wire it to the shifter or would it be better to wire them to a momentary switch like a horn button?

Hello, i was looking up a few different 4 wheelers tonight and then had a question. I see so many similarities between the ODES 800 Assailant, and CFMOTO 800 Cforce that i have to wonder. Are they the same thing? It looks like they both have turning signals, 2 seater, engine size in common although CFMOTO does a much better job of making theirs look better.

I was looking at cfmoto z6 I believe it is called. It is their spot side by side like the rzr but it is 51 in wide. I wanted to know how they perform and if they are reliable machines

With this cold snap, I noticed yesterday that the battery on my grizzly was a little weak. even clicked a few times before I got it to start. I'm thinking of picking up a batter tender/ trickle charger so was wondering what people use to keep their ATV battery charged up. I was looking at these on amazon. They both have good reviews.
or this one
Kind of like this one because if the accessory plug

I have had a 2002 Suzuki King Quad 500 for almost a year. This is a question I’ve posted before, but likely missed the answer due to being new to the site. Here’s the issue. When in 4 wheel drive, especially in low range, especially when pulling a load downhill, I hear a lot of clanking in the front end. As if the front drive shaft was binding then unbinding. A friend who had a 1987 Dodge 4x4, told me all the noise his front end made when in 4 wheel drive was entirely normal. So, is this something I should worry about? I have all the bodywork and tank off right now doing a valve adjustment and carb rebuild. If I gotta do something, I’d like to do it now. Lastly, I’d love to find a carb tuning guide for this era of Mikuni. Haven’t tracked one down yet. Any thoughts of where to find one? Great forum. Have really enjoyed it so far.

Hey everyone, here is an update. I have my new atv battery in and it's fully charged and installed. I have my new hi/lo range knob in that was missing. The ignition is the original one so my new OEM switch will be in Thursday or Friday. I have an original LT-F230 service manual. It gives all the colors of all the wires but does not say which are hot and which are ground. Here are pics of the front cover and the wiring page. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? I want to see if I have fire to the ignition switch.
I do have a multi meter

OK, sooo I finally did the old skid plate and screen removal to clean out my oil sump during an oil change... This bike only has a couple thousand miles on it. Runs like a top still... Very few issues over the years after buying it used.
But boy I wasn't expecting to see this! Piece of a circlip, stuck up in the screen, and a another shard of metal and maybe a piece of gasket material. Nothing in the oil but that... Pristine otherwise, and still runs like a top. Always has.
Soooo, is it a wrist pin clip? That's the only thing I can think of like this that could end up in there. But definitely wanted to throw it out to guys that have seen the innerds of these more than I have.
The valves on this thing are still within the factory spec even. Been a really good lil workhorse...
Any other ideas?

Hello all , I have a atc I’m trying to rehab, the regulator fails testing and a new one is needed. I’m afraid of the eBay China regs. What is a good reg to use?
