1997 Beg Bear got stuck in 2nd Gear when parked on slight hilll

My 1997 Beg Bear got stuck in 2nd Gear when parked on slight hill, otherwise in perfect shape. Trying to get it into neutral, by rocking it back and forth won't release out of gear.

Any suggestions, It's my work horse and I keep it in to shape, got to get it running..

Have you tried to rock it and switch gears while it’s running or not running? 

If so and it didn’t work then try to get the rear wheels off of the ground and see if that works.  

That bike is full time 4x4 correct ? 

 

I always put my parking brake on when on a hill, tough to remember to do but you will remember after a while.

      Looking for Quadrunner Flywheel Starter Clutch Gear race diameter

      Hi all, 

      I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

      Just getting into this issue really. Been replacing solenoids but now I'd like to track down the problem. This time I'm not getting neutral/reverse lights or start button. Was on a creek ride when it started doing this recently. It cranks by arcing the solenoid and gives me no light or start button but if I crank with the pull cord....the neutral light and the button work. Turn it off and try to crank with the key and nothing. I'm looking into the safety switch issue tomorrow and re charging the battery. Just figured this was odd enough of a problem that you guys might be familiar. Thanks

      kymco mxu 250 Shifting forwards back no neutral

      hi everybody
       
      I have a kymco mxu 250 automatic from 2006 250 cc  that keeps going forwards or backwards when i shift backwards or forwards an then shift to neutral .
      if i shutdown the motor and push the quad and restart then its in neutral and don't go forwards or backwards, i already checkt if my motor is running good stationairy .
       
      what can it be or what can i do to fix this?

      2008 big bear 400 safety interlock to start in gear

      Any body have a part number for replacing the safety interlock on the left brake so you can start the engine with the brake handle pulled and in gear
      or how to bypass this function so you can start in gear
