2006 Suzuki z50 help and need new seat

Recommended Posts

Hey all new to the forum.... We ended up picking up a 2006 Suzuki z50 quad sport and took it camping this weekend. The guy said had a new top end and just put on a new belt. Seem to work fine for a little bit and then it lost power at the rear wheels. Belt was not in bad shape took a look but it just did not seem to have enough power to get my little guy moving. I pick up the rear end tires would go. Set it down lacked all power.   Any help would be greatly appreciated it did run like a top also.      To add to the bad news on the way home I ended up losing the seat so if anybody has one even if it's in rough shape would love to get it or if you have any ideas open to suggestions......

Lot of variables to work through here.  Make sure fuel is clean and water free, carb is clean, air filter not stopped up, carb jets clean, spark plug clean, then on to transmission slip, brakes partially engaged.

Happy to help, just need a bit more info to start with.

None on Ebay, so that sucks.  Can get OEM from Partzilla but they're $300.  That's a tough one if you can't find a parts bike anywhere.  Even if you made the seat pan from fiberglass you'll still need hardware.  Good luck on that one, wish I could help more.  There weren't a ton of the mini quads made so the aftermarket isn't that huge.

Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.

If you had to choose one mod that you couldn't live without, or had to recommend one what would it be?
