For a while now the springs on my quad keep getting softer and softer even though the springs are set at the strongest setting. After searching the net I came across highlifters high capacity springs. I do a lot of towing and carry a desent amount of wait on my racks. All i want to know is if they really are worth the $160, and if anyone knows about them?

IF you are carrying a lot of weight I would buy the stouter springs. Any company that makes/sells snowplows should have springs available. It pays to shop around! What does RockyMountainATV say? I would go there first. I always talk to Debbie.

New springs are really your only solution: expect it to ride stiffer when empty but it should not be a major problem.... Let us know how it goes!:partyc:

my thot was cycle country since they do plows and implements, but no luck there. still searching....

one of the big plow mfrs markets a whole bunch of springs I just haven't found them yet. an ATV magazine might help...

google search turned up only Baldwin Motorsports for RCS springs - maybe.

There just isn't much out there for AC. Did the dealer say anything helpful?

Some times those bright colors look good. There is not to much of it and it's tucked up in there. I think it will look good, draw some attention.

    • Searching for manuals and ATV information

Here's a  "heads up"  for   everyone searching for  owners  or  service manuals for your  quad. While searching  for  service manuals to  help  others  posting  in the forum,  I've  come across a couple of  sites early in each search that  claim to  offer  the service manual needed.  When  clicking the  link for the  manual  pdf,  it opens a  download link showing an  .exe  file.  DO NOT CLICK ON ANY DOWNLOAD LINK THAT SHOWS AN EXE  FILE TO GET  A  PDF OF ANY  MANUAL !  I  am  running Windows  10  Pro and it is set  to   show the full address and type of any  file.  It also  prevents automatic  downloads unless I  specifically allow  them. Those  fake manual  pdf  downloads try to  automatically  install  the file  downloader it actually  contains rather than  a true  pdf.  Had it  actually been able to  run  automatically,  it would have downloaded a  load of hurt on my   PC.  The downloader link  was able to  install into the temp  folder in  my Windows but was not able to execute  because I did not  click to allow it .  Afterwards,  my  A/V  program detected  the malware in the temp  folder  and quarantined  it  for removal. Had  my  PC not  been set  to  show the complete address and type  of  file and to  not  automatically  download  files I'd have  one  very  compromised  computer. Everyone ,  make sure  your  anti-virus  program is kept  up to  date with the latest  definitions  for  it.  Set  your computer  to  show the  complete  address and type  of file  rather than  allowing it to   auto - hide known  Windows  file types  so  a program  such as   xxx.pdf.exe  shows  as such  and  not  as just  xxx.pdf    with the   known  file type  .exe  hidden.

    • Help! Carburetor Air jet setting??

I have a 1996 King Quad 300 LT-F4WDX ATV I tried to install a carburetor rebuild kit but there were no instructions and I am unable to find them. Anybody know what the "Pilot Screw" is set at? The engine starts but seems to be flooding- very difficult to get the rpms up and engine acts flooded. I set the screw to 3 turns from closed. It is called the "Pilot Screw" on exploded views of the carb. It is a Mikuni BST 31 single carb. Thanks for any help! Bill Roberts

When I push down on the rear brake pedal, it makes the left hand brake very sloppy. Is there a way to adjust that? I have a 2007 Suzuki Vinson
