It uses 90 grade gear oil.. as used in car diffs and gearboxes. I don't know what the changing schedule is but that will be in the manual.. Mostly it never gets changed.. If you go through deep water, really deep, then take the filler bung out and see if the oil is milky with water.. change it if it's got water or metal dust or flakes in it.

I forgot to ask before but, is this gear oil "standard" 90 weight? Reason I ask is I owned a yamaha grizzly one time and it said it needed special "hypoid" gear oil.

Dumb question, but would it be okay to use 90 weight hypoid grease in my 95 model King Quad front end?  I don't won't to put something in it that I shouldn't.

Thanks

Yes it is hypoid gear oil.. 90 grade is the viscosity.

I don't think there is any such thing as hypoid grease, and if there was, it's number rating would be something like ... oh.. I don't know.. perhaps 2000

When i think of differential gear oil, id think 75-90  or 80-90 gear oil.   not sure ive seen a straight 90.    not sure id use a grease in there.  that doesnt sound right.

Yesterday I got a UForce 1000 as my first bike and I am wondering if there are any owners that could advise where I can find budget parts and accessories for it.
I tried looking StarknightMT, but the filtering is a bit unreliable, so direct links or exact names are much appreciated.
I'm mostly interested in sliders and side cases, but any advices for "must haves" are welcomed.
      Thank you!

      Good day everyone!
I am pretty new to ATV/UTV/Small engine repairs and would like input on your absolute must-have specialty tools for maintenance and repairs. Aside from the obvious wrenches and sockets, what are some more specialty type tools you use for troubleshooting? I don't plan to open a repair shop or anything, I just do this as a hobby. Looking forward to your responses!
