Do you mean the plug's real tight in there, and the head of it's rounded off so you can't get it out ?

Have you tried a six sided socket ?

If that doesn't work they I'd use a small blunt cold chisel or engineers punch to tap the head of the drain bung around a tiny bit, a little on the left, then a little on the right, then a little on the left again, then try the six sided socket again. Put the socket on then give it a tap with a hammer to make sure it's right on and to loosen the grip of the drain bung. Then you need to apply as much pressure as the grip of the socket will allow, and hold it there till the plug begins to move.

It you mean the drain plug is out but the threads are stripped in the case where it goes, you could ask at an auto shop and them will be able to get you a slightly oversized plug.

If the bung has a flange, try tapping that around with a small slightly blunt cold chisel, or a nice new engineers punch with a sharp (90 degree) edge to it's end. If there's no flange then try tapping on the flats, near the ridge the socket usually touches. If you use a chisel there, you can sometimes raise a little metal on a couple of flats and it's enough, with the nudge from tapping, to allow the six sided socket to grip. Tapping the plug on it's end might also loosen it a little, and at the same time splay the edges of the hex, allowing a little more grip for the socket. Don't hit too hard anywhere, or use too sharper chisel.. The idea is to raise a little metal as much as move the plug.

You can get  stripped nut and bolt remover sets.  They  have a  reverse twist so  when  you drive the one  that  has the best bite onto the bolt head or nut they bite into it.  When  you  turn them  with your ratchet wrench the bite in deeper with the torque to remove the nut / bolt.

I am hooking up a speaker on the rear of bike and want to use a factory auxiliary switched plug and not have to cut into the factory wiring or add another switch. I have read a bunch of posts that say there should be an auxiliary 12V connector in the front and one in the rear. I found the one in the front when I hooked up my winch but cannot find any in the rear. I have seen some pictures showing one on the right side attached to the down tube behind the side cover, but there is nothing on my 2024. Can anyone confirm that there is a auxiliary 12V connector in the rear on the 2024 700 Xmr? If so, can you please tell me where it is (with a picture if possible)?

hi im new to this but have done oil drains on my dirt bike

but I took wrong drain bolt out of my quad.: Ive emotied the gear box oil and what appears to be my chain tensioner part. Drained oil out both plugs thinking it was my engine oil!!

I’ve refilled the gear oil from a oil point and not the engine oil as I’ve done that through the dipstick refill point… im just really worried about the oil that came out the tensioner part .. will there be a refill point for that separate from gear oil refill. Ives struggled for 4 days for information and goung round the bend..  Chinese quad is a 10ten 180 RXR
please if someone could answer this as I’m worried to run the quad until I’m sure I don’t need to find another fill point for the tensioner part ?

I hadn't driven my Kodiak for a two months, and since it was low on fuel, the first thing I did was filled it up to maybe 7/8 full. Getting ready to start it, I rotated the fuel selector switch to "on" and within seconds I smelled and saw fuel dripping onto the floor. I quickly turned it off and the fuel gradually stopped - I can repeat this.
The fuel is flowing from the hose that is connected to the bottom of the carb, and routes around to the left side toward the wheel well. Any idea what's going on here? It ran fine the last time I had it out.
      Thanks...

I believe the Kawasaki is either an '03 or '04. Green automatic with shifter on the right side. Rear differential was bad, so I replaced it with another. The 4 wheeler rolled in neutral when I parked it in the shop to work on. Took old diff off and replaced it with another one. The diff I put on, turned before I put it on the bike. Once I put it on the bike, the rear end wouldn't move at all. It's like it's stuck in gear. Bike is still in neutral. I've tried rocking the bike while trying to put it in high, won't budge. Can anyone tell me of something to check or try? I haven't opened up the transmission case yet to see what's going on. What should I be looking for?

This thing is stuck in reverse! 2021 Axis with less than 15 hours on it. I cranked it, let it idle for a few minutes and when I put it in reverse the engine died and it won't come out of reverse gear. Any help is appreciated.
