You have to pull the cable up and around and take out the brass keeper then the cable will pull out of the carb, you will have to push the spring loaded half moon tensioner to the right to get slack to do this. Needlenose pliers are a great help.

      This 2006 ArticCat dvx400 didn't have a reverse cable. I got one and am wondering how it routes? If someone has a dvx400, could post a pic of there reverse cable routing, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

      Necesito ayuda para saber como puedo ajustar yo mismo el cable del acelerador de mi atv, esta nueva, recientemente lo lleve a su primer servicio y lo "arreglaron" pero ayer volvió a fallar, lo que pasa es que de la nada como que se afloja y por más que presione la palanca de aceleración nada más no avanza, he intentado repararlo y en ocasiones queda bien pero después le pasa lo mismo, y quisiera saber como funciona para poder repararlo ya que aun falta bastante para su siguiente servicio además de que para llevarla al servicio debo rentar una camioneta para llevarla ya que esta algo lejos el centro de servicio, así que por favor si me pueden ayudar, se los agradecería mucho
