I recently bought and old Kazuma Dingo 150cc and to begin with it started just fine. Then, for no apparent reason, it wouldn't start. It turns the motor but fuel isn't getting to the spark plug.
As mentioned in the title I've since replaced the fuel filter, the carburetor, the ignition coil and the spark plug. Fuel comes into the carburetor but seems to go no further. Is it a vacuum problem? Does anyone have a good idea about how I could diagnose the problem? And how to fix it?

I don't know what year it's from, sorry.

Sincerely
Mikael

Is this a four stroke or a two stroke ?

Have you taken the carb off and stripped it and cleaned it ?  That's first I think.

It's a four stroke.
Yes. First I tried to strip and clean the carb but it didn't help. Then I replaced the entire carb with a brand new carb. Still didn't help. So I'm wondering if maybe there's a vacuum leak between engine and carbthat prevents the carb from doing it's thing or something is stuck inside the engine so that the vacuum isn't created. But I don't know how to diagnose or fix it.

Will it try to start on starting fluid.

I haven't tried. Where should I spray it? It seems that fuel isn't getting past neither the old nor the brand new carb, so it hardly makes sense to spray it into the air filter.

You should spray the starting fluid in the air inlet of the carb or if the air filter is still attached spray it on the air filter if its sucking correctly it will get in there, if still nothing, take the air filter off and put your hand over air inlet if working correctly you should feel suction when cranking the engine on your hand and hand should get wet with gas.

Exactly what I was about to say..  put your hand over the carb's intake for a second while you crank it and feel for suction, and then see if it's getting petrol through.

Hi guys, I have a 2004 big bear 400. Last winter while plowing the driveway, I heard a loud pop from the left side of the engine. It continued to run as I looked for leaky fluid, but then died shortly after backing it up and won’t start now. The oil light comes on when I try to start it, no noise or anything else.
No blown fuses that I can find.

My 1992 TRX00 recently stopped firing.  I understand this is a common problem. I have ordered an aftermarket CDI unit.    TJ
