I just bought a 2022 Sector 550, it has 22 miles on it.  Driving down a flat gravel road for 2 miles, and it starts blubbering and missing.  Then it catches and runs fine for a bit, then starts blubbering again.  Then I went up the neighbors steep driveway and it blubbered and then ran Ok, then blubbered again, then ran ok, then blubbered again, I wasn't sure I'd make it.

Got home, let it cool down and then recreated the trip.  Two miles of level gravel road, then it started blubbering again.  Didn't try the neighbors driveway.  Didn't want to have to walk home.

It seems as if when it reaches a certain temp it starts acting up.  It isn't getting hot, gauge reads good.

Any ideas?  Years ago a Polaris snowmobile was acting up like this and the temperature sensor wire was loose.  That is not the case here.

It seems like an "Ignition Interuptis" scenario, but not sure where to look.

Fuel?  New machine with new gas?  That shouldn't be it.

Probably going to take it back to the dealer tomorrow, but am hoping to get any ideas from you Hisun guys.

Any ideas???

Thanks for the help.

Water in the fuel.

I refilled the tank with fresh gas, added Sta-bil and heet.  Ran it up and down the road and cleared it up.

I think it was sitting at the dealer for a year, hence the moisture in the gas.

Running like it's supposed to.

I guess that would do it, I just assumed the dealer would have put fresh fuel in it before they sold it. Great you got that figured out, beats hauling it back to the dealer.

Just bought an Axis 500 from Lowe’s. Same exact scenario. Filled up with new gas, all is good.  My guess is they put some gas in at Texas assembly and a year later by the time they finally sell, that gallon of gas has moisture in it.

Another possible scenario that some Hisun Sector owners will run into is the seat belt governor. If seat belts are not fastened, the vehicle will not go over a few miles an hour and it will buck and hesitate like there is fuel starvation or an ignition issue. It took me a long time to find any documentation on this. However, I did find a sticker on the left side roll cage that provides a warning.

Yes, I experienced this seat belt nanny first hand. Found a mention of it in a note buried in the manual, then found the warning label after that. Hooked up seat belts (like we're supposed to) and problem solved.

      Hello All
I'm kinda new to ATVs. I just bought a 1987 Suzuki quad runner 230 Dual Range. I'm having a problem finding info on it. It's very clean, only 2.800 miles. The front wheels are only 30 in.center to center. I was thinking about adding wheel spacers to give it more stability. I realize the added stress on ball joints and bearings. I'm wondering if there are any other concerns? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, I’m new here and new to 4 wheelers. Just got a Yamaha bear tracker 250 and joined here to see if I could get some help.
The motor runs and it drives if it up on jackstands but if you get on and try to ride it, it starts to drive but then quits after a foot or two and dies out and won’t drive. The guy I got it from said he was running and using it shifting through all the gears great and he started it up the next day and it started this.
He told me he thought it was the U joint on the driveshaft. He said it was probably worn and needed to be replaced.
I just finished pulling the swing arm and rear end assembly to check out the U joint and there’s no play in it. It’s tight and not nearly enough play to be loose enough to not catch and go.
Any ideas on what it could actually be?
      Thanks
