1989 Kawasaki Bayou 220 throttle lever is not moving

The Kawasaki is a 1989 Bayou 220. Neutral has been found, by pulling the recoil starter, engine turned over the wheels did not turn, so my next step is to put a battery in and see what happens. Oil is half way up the sight glass. The concern I have is the throttle lever is not moving. Suggestions please?????

Try pulling on the throttle cable where it goes into the carb at the side..  It should pull out about twenty mills if the butterfly is free, if it's seized then it won't move more than about two mills. If the butterfly is free, then it's the cable or in the hand-piece. Try pulling the cable out at the hand piece, if it pulls out about twenty mills then it's the hand piece seized. if it doesn't pull out there its a seized cable.

      2005 Suzuki King Quad Battery Question

      Hi all.  New to the forum & quads.  Seems like a great place full of info.
      I just recently picked up a 2005 Suzuki KingQuad LTA700.  I need a battery.  I've been reading up on conventional vs AGM types.  I have a Royal Distributing and Canadian Tire.  RD has 2 types avail for my year/Model a battery YTX16-BS CRANK $75, and BATTERY YTX20CH-BS YUASA $140.  Neither of these is the type from the manual FTZ16-BS.
      from what I can tell... I think the only difference is the capacity with the $75 unit rated at 14 AH/10HR and the $140 unit rated at 18 AH/10HR ... which is the rating in the manual for the FTZ16-BS.  How much does this make a difference for nearly x2 the cost?
      And about the models/type numbers.... what is important to know ... they all end in "-BS" but are the other details relevant or just manufacturer naming?

      Starter not staying engaged while cranking

      Hi all,
      Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

      Starter circuit cut out relay 1997 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4

      I have a 1997 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4. It used to start right up. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't crank. I have a schematic for it so I started tracing the problem. I had no power at the starter solenoid. According to the schematic the power comes from the neutral switch and through the starter circuit cut out relay. I cannot locate the cut out relay on this machine.. If I apply power to the relay it will crank with the start button.
      The neutral switch is hard to get to with all the brackets on this thing. I did find out from all my research that if I apply the rear brake lever it will start.
      Does anybody know if the cut out relay exists and where it might be found?

      1990 kawasaki bayou 300c idles fine but pops out exhaust and intake when trying to excel, will not take throttle past 1/4 , any one had this problem?
      have replaced carb twice, same thing, fresh built engine cylinder head, same as before, new spark plug, flywheel key is good, pulser test good, good spark
