Looks nicely made.

I just use a hammer to knock the pins out of master links and a pair of channel-lock pliers to put them together. If you position the link on the back sprocket the pins can be tapped out easily.

Yeah I mounted it on the back sprocket. I think the open end of the clip is all the way on. I'm going to replace the chain and sprockets soon so I may get that press so I I'll have it for that job. Thanks! 👍

I think I'll get on for when I change sprockets and chain. I ordered snap ring pliers for the snap ring on the front sprocket. The ones I ordered have .470" pins I hope. I hope the pins will fit the holes and not be too big or too small. 🙂

Oh yeah. I've got a set of those. I think you'll find they are fairly small tips, good for piston circlips and brake cylinders, circlips about fifteen mill diameter. They'll do a sprocket circlip though.

They'll be 0.047" which is close as to 1mm.

I was trying to decide between the .070 or the .047 I finally went with the .047 As long as they will work and not brake I'll be satisfied. 👍 Also had .090

Hello all! I’m new to the 4 wheeler world, but not new to the mechanic world. I was a diesel mechanic for many years and last year got into jet skis. I just bought a 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 and now learning the ins and outs of 2 stroke engines. Looking forward to learning all the things.
