Suzuki LT80K Gas

I just bought two 2002 Suzuki LT80K. Do I need to mix the gas or use straight unleaded?

It's a two-stroke engine but you don't need to premix oil in the fuel. It has an oil tank and it auto mixes the oil as it runs. You need to top the oil tank up every so often. I think the oil tank will last longer than a tank of gas for safety reasons, but you need to monitor it for a while to be sure about that. It may not last two tanks of gas !

Thanks, I will look into finding a manual. I didn't think it needed to be mixed, but I had someone tell me if you put straight gas it would lock up the engine in it.

If they have been sitting for a while i would take the oil line loose at the carb to make sure iit it pumping oil in to the carb, also measure the amount that it is pumping. I think for the first tank or two i would use a light premix also just to get everything lubed up good. I know these systems are fairly reliable but one little fluke and your engine is fried.

Yes, a lot of people do add a bit of oil with the fuel as an extra safety measure, and a having a two-stroke running with a bit of extra oil going through it does seem to make them last longer.
