Hello I’m new here and was wondering is anyone knew of good replacement part numbers for front struts and rear shocks for this atv? I think I’ve found a new rear shock, that looks like the original but there is no dimensions or anything and was wondering if there are any afterMarket new front struts available. I know it’s a long shot but any help would be appreciated.

I’ve sort of done that for the struts by looking them up on parts diagrams not the actual stamped part number on the strut.  All I can find are used on eBay not sure they’d be much better than mine.  I will do that. Thanks for the advice

Alright guys. I need some help with this rear shock. The one I thought would work is two inches too long.  I’ve removed the old shock. It’s 360 mm eye to eye or 14-1/8”, set on the highest setting. The eyelets are 12mm or .459” the spring which may nor be a big deal is .366” sorry didn’t get a metric measurement. And the body of the shock is 1.5” and some change. The width of the top eyelet is 40mm and the bottom is 45 mm. The biggest problem I’m having is finding that length matched with a 12mm eyelet.  I could get  one with 10 mm eyelets but then I’d have slop in the anchor points in the quad using 10mm bolts.

Update on the front struts from Canada. They work great but are 7/8” longer than what was on there. The tires lean out slightly at the top but it’s fine. Had to bend the bottom edge for more clearance from the cv axle.

Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.

I am new to this site. I have a 1987 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport I think. Is there a difference between quadsport and quadrunner?

Have you ever been on the trail and your tire valve goes bad. No way to break down the wheel and replace it. A lot of you probably know about this already i had heard of it but never used one. Just punch out the old one insert and tighten down the nut

So far it has worked very well.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.
