I have a 2022 Kymco MXU150 and have been trying to bleed the rear brakes for several days. I have used a vacuum and also tried the lever pumping. i took the caliper off and compressed the piston with a C clamp and had a tight brake lever. I put it back together and still cannot build any pressure in the brake system. Any ideas from anyone?  Thank you

Some brake calipers have two (2) brake bleed ports.  One is high and one low.  They do that so the caliper mounting can be varied. Bottom line is if you have two (2) ports use the upper port.

With the brake line removed from the caliber and hose attached to line and submerged in brake fluid press brake.   You should get steady fluid flow without bubbles.

I have done bleeding using a clamp pushing and holding  break.   However, i like removing caliper and bleeding using my kit.

Glad you got it.

The speed you pull/press the lever at makes a difference to how well they bleed sometimes. slowish steady presses mostly seem to work best to start, then once you have some pressure, pump it fast till it builds up best pressure possible, and holding the lever hard open the bleeder fast.. Repeat that latter process closing the bleeder off till you have good pressure, then open the bleeder fast..  It always works.

Hi, I am new to this forum I am currently working on my 1989 Yamaha front end.  The cv axles were bad so I changed them on both sides with all new wheel bearings. Now I'm looking at the front brakes and the 2 cylinders for the brake shoes on both sides do not work at all. I am also new at working on brakes so its a mystery to me what needs to be done to fix the cylinders.  Can somebody please help me with these brake issues? See the image below.
      Thank you,
      Olchap
