I don't consider her one of us. She promotes hunting by air. I see nothing wrong with hunting but when you fly some rich guys into the wilderness in a helicopter and drop them off next to a herd or a pack so they can "hunt". I can honestly say I despise her, McCain is a joke just like both people on the Democratic ticket. I think we are screwed either way.

I don't like that eather but maybe we will still have our guns to hunt with.

A president will never succeed at taking away our guns. I just really don't like Palin just for the fact that the only reason she got picked was because the Clinton thing. Since Clinton didn't get picked McCain picked her to get all the female votes.

Let me say i am not a Republican or Democratic the only thing i am biasing things on is the sport i like ohv stuff. Bush has not done everything right but he has give allot of money to the our door sports. But there is still things that need fixed we can't ride in out national forest southernillinois witch is stupid pay tax with out use burns my but. We take out money to KY. to ride and spend our money down there when we have better riding at home and can't use. I just believe that the Republicans are a little more out doors people that the Democratics and i maybe wrong but at this time who knows . Like you say we are going to be in trouble in the end no matter how it turns out. Don't never think thay won't take our gun's it been done in outher places. If any one says anything about taking any gun he's out of my game pretty fast.

It is more of voting against someone than voting for someone and I hate that. I wish that someone would run that I could really get behind.

i absolutely agree. i like mccain/palin...but don't agree with everything they represent...i really don't like obama/biden but think a few of there policies here and there might be good...

shoot, let's just vote for Ralphie:biggrin::laugh:

The last thing I want to say is, it does not matter who wins. It only matters what all the hundreds of elected officals do under the next President. The President is only as good as congress will let him be.

The President is the one who goes down good or bad in history books.

You want to see bad just move to Illinois our Governor has us so broke the state can't even buy gas for the trucks. I know a game warden told me he could only use 15 gal.

I read something by Harry Truman last nite [he's got a lot of good stuff.]

When asked why he was a politician, he said he had two choices, it was either a piano player in a whorehouse or a politician. After which he remarked "they're pretty much the same thing anyway." well said!

I thot Sarah handed that professional politician his head. Did I mention I hate professional politicians?

footnote: Barak is a smoker. Both of his parents were smokers and died young. Biden has had 2 brain aneurism surgeries and is over 60 years old. If they both die guess who becomes the president? None other than Nancy Pelosi! That alone is enuf to cast my vote for McCain/Palin. I can't think of anyone I dislike more than Nancy Pelosi! JMHO

Oh I totally agree! I HATE that traitorous B%^&H. She and Reed should be put in jail or executed, along with Obama for even trying to discuss events in Iraq with their leader. I guess I don't understand politics. I thought that was the Presidents job or his appointed person. My anti-liberalism is coming out. This is not a good topic to talk about when we are friends talking about riding. But I guess since we're out burning fuel and riding the trails in America, most are to the right than to the left. I don't mean to hate liberals...I just do. Sorry to offend anyone with my rant and maybe after this election is over I'll back down a bit.

LOL. Ok now that I've taken my Ridlon, I'll settle down. Yup and my absentee is already sent in. Some of the things Senator Obama mentions sound pretty good actually but I do have my differences. 1. It's a personnal thing...against attorneys, Republican and Democrats. It sucks that they're usually the only ones who know the system well enough and how to manipulate it. I haven't researched it but I wonder how many of our past presidents were attorneys. Bush was one and now we have Obama and his wife. 2. Also personal. How can we have a commander in chief who has never served? Oh I know it happens all the time but I still don't understand it. Of course it doesn't mean anyone in the service has all the answers and I should admit that a breath of fresh air just might be good at times. 3. Socialism works ok when there is someone protecting the world. But when that country converts then who keeps the rogue nations at bay?

I for one don't want to pay for someone who sits on their butts expecting a hand out from those who are busting theirs. I have no problem helping those who are honestly trying or helping in medical issues for the same. But paying for some crackhead who OD'd or gets shot while stealing from a good citizen just ain't in my plan. These are to the extremes of course and I'm spouting my fury.

Flip side: I don't think we need to destroy everything on the planet to make a buck and we do need to work on this global warming issue. Hmmm a nuclear powered ATV? I've been on plenty of nuke warships and other than planned drills, never an issue. I came real close to voting for Kerry in 2004 after taking an environmental science class but then just couldn't vote for him.

Religion. Ok I'm not there so there totally but I do have my beliefs. Both sides have pros and cons. I better stop here cuz I'm getting on my soapbox and just needed to list who I voted for. I too wish there was someone I could vote for who I could really get behind. This time around I'll have to go with McCain/Palin. Just can't figure out who is hotter. Palin or Tina Faye. LOL

To those voting for Obama I am relaxing a little bit and can understand your preference. He is very intelligent and a great speaker. If he becomes president I hope he does a great job...we need it. But it's all a popularity contest anyway and the president has little real power. My concern is with Congress.

Sorry to rant. Cya

Interesting.

I too, soldier, will be voting in my 9th general election and as always it is a choice between the 'questionable' and the 'damned liar.' Actually this is better than most!

I vote for who supports the troops. We are there to do a job and 'we won't be back 'til it's over over there.' ref: WW1.

Soldiers SERVE, politicians do NOT. Slick Willy taught us that remember? Promised a tax cut for the middle class, it got him elected! by the next summer my taxes went UP. Politicians have no honor! a veteran can be humiliated and called on his word! nuf said?

:skeptic:

      Good Morning!
Has anyone had a problem with the small aluminum 90 degree elbow popping out of the valve cover and blowing oil all over the place? It looks like it is simply pressed in and will most certainly repeat the offense. Any experience you all can share with this issue?
      Thanks in advance.

I picked up this ATV that had no spark. The previous owner said he was driving it and it died and would not start. He discovered it had no spark. He replaced the CDI and the coil with no luck. He got tired of it and I bought it. I replaced the stater and now it has strong spark. Now, it starts for a second or two then dies. It will not stay running. I have checked the timing and it is spot on. The valves are adjusted correctly. I see no warn issues with the cam. I put the original CDI and coil back on it. Same problem exists. Compression is at 65 psi (has decompression mechanism),
I took off the muffler in case the issue was clogged pipes. No change. I replaced the spark plug. No change. The carb was an aftermarket so I put a Niche carb on with no change. I bypassed the fuel pump and that did nothing to solve the problem.
I don't know if this is a carb issue or an ignition issue. I am looking around locally for an OEM carb to try out but not sure that will fix the problem.
Can anyone help me solve this problem. I am running out of ideas.
      Thank you for your time
      Bill

Recently rebuilt front end on this Polaris 400. New axles, bearings, seals, control arm bushings, Hilliard clutch thoroughly cleaned and inspected with no damage noted.
Everything put back to together. Placed bike on jack stands all four wheels off the ground, started in 2 WD switched to AWD both front tires spinning, when AWD turned
off right front wheel will not disengage from AWD. Checked voltage at connectors both left and right connectors have no voltage with AWD switch off, and both have 12.4V
when AWD switch is turned on. Repeated turning switch on and off several times with no change in condition. I am thinking this must be something mechanical with the
Hilliard clutch on the right hub ie. weak spring or stuck rollers on the Hilliard clutch assembly (Is this a logical thought?) any ideas on trouble shooting this before I disassemble the
      right front hub again

Has anyone had experience with the installation of the Optional RH Side Panel Close Off Kit as shown as p/n 2207445 which is supposed to help control the heat on the right side on my legs?  Right now that panel is wide open with excess heat on my leg.
