TX, I did not realize Bigcat was her dad. Thank you sharing.

Dave, from the whole QC family, Godspeed. Mine and my family's prayers are with you and your family. It must feel great to have the kind of friends who go above and beyond to help another man in need. Your daughter's story really hit me in that certain part of the heart. I wish the best for you and your family.

What these guys are doing is really incredible. I initially turned down a couple offers of a fund raiser, I always figure there are people that need help more than me. When things started getting out of hand with the mortgage, I started to sell the quads. The kids got very upset with that, we don't have much, but the quads represent something special to them. That's when Dennis (Timberrider) stepped in and said we're gonna do this for your family, just accept it. I still haven't met him in person yet.

I figured OK, I've been on a few fund raisers, 30 maybe 40 riders. What this is turning into is a huge event. I still feel like we don't deserve it all, but I can't wait for this ride. Not so much because it is supposed to benefit my family, but because I want to see all these clubs and individuals get together and show a positive side of the ATV community. I'm active on about 20 ATV and off-road forums, and lurk on several more. I am really looking forward to meeting some of the people that I wanted to ride with, but never got the opportunity to meet yet.

Dave Thanks for the kind words. All I can say is that although we never met you have the reputation of a being a Good Man, A Loving Husband and a Great Father. Everyone I asked about you had nothing but good things to say. They all told me and I quote, " Dave would give you the shirt off his back". That was all I needed to hear. I come from a large family also. Nine kids. We didn't always have the best of everything but we had a roof over our heads, clean clothes, plenty to eat and 2 parents that loved and cared for us. When I heard about your situation I knew we had to do this for you and your family. My folks fell on hard times often and there were always people there to help us. Your one of us Brother and were gonna do what ever it takes to get you and your family back on your feet and Sam healthy again. You have alot of friends out here Dave. Some you know some you will meet and some you'll never meet. But what matters is that you and your family are not alone in this. We all share your pain and want nothing more then to see a smile on all of your faces. Your in our thoughts and prayers. See you at the ride Buddy. It's gonna be a great day.

Dennis

Hello everyone, did a search and not successful. Purchased new 2017 Sportsman 570 sp and my power steering is not working. Seems to have a mind of it's own. Works then it doesn't. Dealer says there's not a fix. Thought it was just me and it being a brand new machine with 4 hours on it. Dealership said it's this model only ? Not sure what a person in this spot is suppose to do and wondering are your thoughts mite be. Thanks

Went on a great ride on Sunday from the M-33 trail head to the Lupton trailhead in the Huron National Forest.

More videos from the ride to be uploaded to the channel soon.

Not sure how many of you will remember this or give a crap about it but back in 2016 I picked up my first old atv to rebuild. Yamaha bear tracker 250. I picked it up in NJ while I was out looking for a quad for my little guy since he started this atv thing after seeing a few old pictures of me in my hay day riding.

The person I was getting the 50cc quad had this one laying around and asked if I was interested in it.  It was beat up and hadn’t ran in a few years.  No spark the guy said and he left it to sit.  I wound up taking both bikes.
I wish I had pics but I deleted the original post on Quadcrazy and lost the old ones on my phone when I upgraded.
This was the atv that caused me to stumble upon Quadcrazy since I needed a little help with the spark issue.  So needless to say I fixed it, did some cosmetic work and she was good to go. I took it upstate and used the shit out of it for just about everything under the sun. This atv made it through some deep snow, mud etc. I decided to leave it up there and use it as a back up since it’s been about 50 atv’s later and I have newer machines now. But unfortunately it sat for some time and it’s a little beat up so I brought it back home and going to clean it up. Amazing how one year sitting has done so much damage.
This was the first atv that I owned in over 30 years! It’s the atv that brought me here to Quadcrazy where now I endlessly check the site to see what’s going on, who’s talking about what and who can we help with there problem or can help me with mine as well as the on slot of what I do today as a hobby with atv’s. It’s been a great pass time for me and my son with the projects we have gotten and get into. He’s learned how to ride so well it scares me a little watching him. He’s learned how to fix, maintain and upgrade atv’s. He’s insanely good with carburetors as well.
It’s a good thing when a kid wants to play in the garage over his X Box!!
The funny thing about this bike is that when we finished it we thought it was the best thing! We were missing a rack on the front and didn’t care since it looked ok, had no clue where to get parts or how to fix plastics. I was so new to this again since I was staring all over again and now had to remember things and also teach my son!
So we will be tearing into the bear tracker to get her up and running again as well as maybe a few new cosmetic changes and hang on to her for a while since I love this bike.  The last two pics are the bike the day we finished putting it all back together and when it was upstate for the first week.

Had no intention of this post going so long. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well I will be Off the Trails for awhile...who will be riding ??
I said awhile ago that we would be done for awhile, and we made it back out,but now I know we are off for at least two weekends,Wife is on Call.
and I might send mine out for some due repairs, that I do not want to do because of the timing, and that I have not done them before.
I need new brakes, front and rear!
      and A Chain and Gears.
Deer Season is Nov.15th thru Nov.29th so no riding during that.
And we need to clean the Garages to get the daily drivers out of the snow, and cold weather.
So I hope that others step up and get in some riding while we are down.
