Hello All,
I have a 1996 Arctic Cat Bearcat 454 and am in a bit of a quandry. I had a bunch of work done on it over the past couple years...new carb, rear brakes, rear axle and bearings. When the rear axle was replaced the shop noticed the left rear hub was stripped. Problem is, the part (1502-178) is no longer available. I've checked junkyards, ebay and other online parts sites across North America and nothing available. Hate to park the bike after all this work just because of a simple hub.
I have two questions...the front hub (part number 1502-177) how much different would it be from the rear hub? This part is readily available. Would the axles be different diameters?
If these are two different parts and we can't make them work, is it possible to take the existing stripped hub and just weld it to the axle? I know it may sound drastic but was wondering if it would not be too crazy?
Thanks for your time

I’m considering buying the 2022 CForce 600. Does anyone have any great or not so great experiences with this so far? Anything that could seriously sway me from buying it? For the price point and the equipment it comes with, seems hard to beat.
Additionally, I’m noticing there doesn’t seem to be a lot of accessories to add-on after purchasing. Mainly, I’m looking for a low profile front cargo box to hold my hunting rifle and few other small items.

My two loves. The Big Red was a present from my son. I got it all ragged out and restored it. The 400EX will be getting the frame, a-arms, and wheels powdercoated black.

Introducing the Dash Frame system for the Kawasaki Teryx from Black Rhino Performance. The Dash Frame fits nicely into the middle of your dash, and is designed to closely follow the shape of the Kawasaki Teryx dash. This frame puts your gauges and switches at the same angle as the upper dash for easy viewing of the gauges and convenient placement of switches. The panel provides mounting for 3 2"
