Just Add Dirt Events

Recommended Posts

I am new here, I have my own site/company named Just-Add-Dirt.com. I market specifically for off road ride parks and events (public invitation). I have a family of four and we all ride. We spend time to travel to specific events and or ride areas to have different types of riding and or terrain for the outing. I am currently sponsoring a race series, that has mud racing, and obstacle course, GPS treasure hunt, and several other activities to interest off roaders. If you have interest click on (untitled document) link below for the schedule, and visit my site for the specifics.

Thanks

Jeff

I spoke to the folks at Rocky Creek today, there is rain in the forecast for Thursday the day before the events, this should be PERFECT. The obstacle course is designed as extremely difficult and passable, the idea is to keep things moving slowly to test the operator skills without excessive speed, and ther will be mud. The GPS treasure hunt will be a hoot with more than 16 coordinates to enter and locate, $600.00 in gift certificates and LOOT awaits its finders. The mud race will be true mud, not a water race, so bring some extra parts, if ya can't sling it then don't bring it, this is designed to be a spectator event, racers will get what they get.

Sound too difficult for you racers???

Well the race and the park were in perfect shape for the event, there was plenty of everything, Thanks to all those who took the time and spent their money to come out and enjoy the event. There will be more, Bennett and the Creek are an easy choice to have fun on any weekend. I am jealous of those that live close to the Creek as they have the best riding anywhere with the nicest park owners that share their property for our use.......on to the next one.

If you had to choose one mod that you couldn't live without, or had to recommend one what would it be?

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!
