90 Suzuki LT250 quad oil type/manual

I recently rebuilt the motor on my neighbor's quad and I accidentally burnt the manual and now they are asking what oil to use so they can have some on hand. I know it was 10W40 but there was a minimum specifications like sp or sh. Also, does anyone know where I can get a cheap manual for this atv so I can replace the one I destroyed.

BTW....Have you ever Googled "lt250r manual" or anything similar like Suzuki LT250R Oil??? Just a Quick Search came up with several forum topics Crammed with good info...

I'm on dialup so I figured I would try this forum first. I can get the manual for around $50 at the store so I thought I might do better online. I figured out the oil already.

Is this an LT250R? or a LT250s Quadrunner? The 250R is a 2-stroke and the 250s is a 4-stroke.

Yes dialup is a trade off for country living. I could get high speed but it isn't worth the price. The atv is a 2 stroke 4*4. Thanks.

If it is a 2 stroke then it won't be a 10w 40 but should be a 2 stroke oil and should be mixed with fuel. I would start with 40 to 1 mixture if your mostly stock. I would use a good quality of 2 stroke oil, synthetic. I use Amsoil but Klotz, Motul, etc are all good.

any brand of 10w40 do not use a full synthetic as it is not a automatic and dont buy auto lab 10w40 oil its crap
