QUESTION,

1. I CANT AFFORD TO BUY A NICE EXHUAST SYSTEM and even the stock mufflers on ebay are way expensive how restrirctive is a stock muffler compared to most aftermarket ones? also i do have the stock head pipe just not the silencer.

2. on mine the pull start is broke and i'm not really worried about having it on right now since they arent cheap to replace. Anyways can i put a side cover frm a newer machine

on there to cover the area?

thanks

If you can make the YFZ pipe fit, great, it will take a bit of fabrication to make it fit the only other thing I would be worried about is that the YFZ is a high performance motor with a bit more compression than the Warrior, which I would not consider to be a high perfromance engine. Therefore, the YFZ exhuast may not provide sufficient back pressure for the Warriors rather tame engine. Now if your friend has the stock YFZ exhuast with the baffle still in place, that may work if you can get it to fit. Also ebay is your friend. These are the cheapest ones I could find. One you can buy now, bidding ends soon on the other. Nevermind the years, they are all the same. The buy it now one is a full set, you can sell the header that you already have to get some of the money back. Keep checking, you never know when a great deal is going to pop up.

There is a huge debate in winches being bought for ATV's lately here is my opinion
well first the debate is what pound winch to get what brand and what to go with metal corded or the Synthetic winch i would go with a 2000 pound warn synthetic synthetic because the metal cord over time frays and the little metal wire poke out and stab the crap out of your hands and can even cut you really good if your not careful I ride with riding gloves but i don't use metal cord because i don't want to have to put on leather gloves just to use my winch on a trail synthetic doesn't fray and is easier on the winch its self not as much friction when unspooling let me know what you guys use what brand weight rating and synthetic or metal cord

Hey guys! Stoked to be here because ive found its pretty hard to get help for mini quads
I recently bought a mini quad (it's a piece of poop so i have no clue the make) and it ran perfectly fine. I was running it a few weeks ago all day and it worked fine and the next day when i went to start it, the kickstart bar was super hard to push down but i could still do it, then it would skip and finish off hard to push down.
I have fairly intermediate mechanic abilities so i was able to pull off the cover and start playing around. it seems the kickstart spring is fine but i noticed a bunch of metal shavings. long story short i posted pictures and took a video of how things are kind of running. i assume the gears started grinding and now they wont catch fully, hence the skipping?
Also, im aware the main gear on the left has broken teeth, i found out the hard way when i tried to take off the nut and the teeth broke.

Just wondering where you guy's an Gal's get your parts. I love buying OEM stuff but sometimes they just cost to darn much for what they are. I know, I know everybody needs to make a living but dang! $ 97.00 for brake pads on one side of the front of my KingQuad. There has got to be a better way.
