What riding boots do you prefer? 50/50 or full boots?

Hi I am debating on buying a pair of the 50/50 boots for riding my ATV I was curious if anyone uses these and how they like them or if you think the full style riding boots are better?

I have no personal experience with them,,,,However,,,,I do have friends that wear them and like them....Personally,,,I just wear my old Justin pull on work boots:laugh:

I really like the 50/50 for when I'm just leisure riding. We do a lot of stopping and walking around taking pics and stuff. they are much easier to walk around in. I have the Alpine star ones, they feel like basketball shoes. Very comfortable.

When I'm riding hard, like when I'm racing, I can't sacrifice the ankle support just in case I crash.

it really depends on what kind of protection you need. I use full size because I do alot of jumping and trail riding, I need the extra protection.

have nt tried the 50/50 , but the taller boots offer more protection
