I am just shooting in the dark here, but it seems like there is something wrong with the clutch shoe or maybe a loose belt is letting the tension off of the clutch causing it to disengage. Good luck.

i have a portuguese suzuki dealer and my portuguese is minimal, as is portuguese communication, but after 5 weeks of phone calls and little reply a new suzuki clutch is on its way,but thanks for the reply dirtdemon the belt sounds more likely due to the none slip when the throttle is on, only when gentle engine braking it gets worse ,,what does the clutch shoe do?

It is the internal part of the centrifugal clutch mechanism. In your case, shoe is mechanism with moving parts (themselves referred to as shoes in most centrifugal clutches) , that swing out when rpm's reach a certain point and engage the clutch.

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!

      Hi all,
Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

Good morning, checking in from Southern Ontario, I have 3 quads. 201 Honda Forman 450S, 2007 Suzuki King quad 450 and a 2021 Polaris 570 sportsman. My wife and I do a fair amount of riding but hoping to do more this year.
