It sounds like a stuck float, worn float stopper, or debris stuck on the float stopper or in the seat. It is still possible that your jets are clogged, but that is not why the fuel is running out of the carb, that is caused by the float stopper not stopping the fuel from entering the carb when the bowl gets full. Check your airbox for fuel, if there is fuel in the box, that is a sign that the main jet is not clogged, at least not completely. When you take the carb back apart to check the float and stuff, take the jets and pilot screw out, shoot some carb cleaner through the jets and the pilot circuit, and then blow through all the holes with compressed air. You may need to use a piece of wire to break things up if the holes are clogged with hardened material.

If the problem comes and goes, you may be able to give it a quick fix when it acts up by tapping on the side of the float bowl with a screwdriver handle or something. Good luck with it, have fun.

hi im new to this but have done oil drains on my dirt bike

but I took wrong drain bolt out of my quad.: Ive emotied the gear box oil and what appears to be my chain tensioner part. Drained oil out both plugs thinking it was my engine oil!!

I’ve refilled the gear oil from a oil point and not the engine oil as I’ve done that through the dipstick refill point… im just really worried about the oil that came out the tensioner part .. will there be a refill point for that separate from gear oil refill. Ives struggled for 4 days for information and goung round the bend..  Chinese quad is a 10ten 180 RXR
please if someone could answer this as I’m worried to run the quad until I’m sure I don’t need to find another fill point for the tensioner part ?

I hadn't driven my Kodiak for a two months, and since it was low on fuel, the first thing I did was filled it up to maybe 7/8 full. Getting ready to start it, I rotated the fuel selector switch to "on" and within seconds I smelled and saw fuel dripping onto the floor. I quickly turned it off and the fuel gradually stopped - I can repeat this.
The fuel is flowing from the hose that is connected to the bottom of the carb, and routes around to the left side toward the wheel well. Any idea what's going on here? It ran fine the last time I had it out.
      Thanks...

First issue was fuel pump wont start once ignition has been turned on. Replaced the pump as I had one on hand, than noticed no power so replaced the fuel pump relay as that was were i traced the power to. Still nothing so further inspection looks like signal is coming from the PCM (FLR B20) but not switching the the brown wire to the fuel pump. Ive checked the operation of the bank angle sensor and it appears operational. Fuses and wiring all appear OK. The engine stop relay also tests OK. Ive been through the repair manual and diagrams but to no avail. Fully stumped, any tips would be helpful. Thanks

      Hi all,
I have the strange issue where the float bowl drain screw on our ‘16 outlaw 50 is leaking by and letting fuel drain out of the tube.  It is not the overflow tube.  I have taken the carb apart to clean as well as taken the screw out and reinserted it but it still leaks by.  I can’t seem to find the screw alone for sale, all I can find is the whole float bowl for $100.  I would rather try a new screw first.
Does anyone know what screw will work in the factory carburetor and/or where to purchase one from?
      Thanks.

I recently bought and old Kazuma Dingo 150cc and to begin with it started just fine. Then, for no apparent reason, it wouldn't start. It turns the motor but fuel isn't getting to the spark plug.
As mentioned in the title I've since replaced the fuel filter, the carburetor, the ignition coil and the spark plug. Fuel comes into the carburetor but seems to go no further. Is it a vacuum problem? Does anyone have a good idea about how I could diagnose the problem? And how to fix it?
I don't know what year it's from, sorry.

      Sincerely
      Mikael
