I have a Suzuki Twin Peaks 700 "2004" I have recently took on water through the air box that completely filled up the belt cover housing, since then I have got it cranked up and reset the sensor that limits it to 8mph and changed oil several times, filter and changed spark plugs, after doing that and riding monitoring performance it would run rough back firing some and all so then moved on to cleaning carbs and after reinstalling them it ran like new, now the problem is It runs rough again and the only thing I did was added a small amount of seafoam since I was told is good for it, any suggestions? last note I have taken out the spark plugs again and checked them they were black so I cleaned them and put them back in still no different. runs great at idle currently just when rev up it tuns rough

you also could have moisture in your electrical connectors or some crap covering the pick up sensor. it might be able to read at an idle but when you speed up the crank or cam it is possibly getting harder for it 2 read. depending on how it gets its signal.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.

Does the 1987 moto 4 350 have a low oil sensor that kills spark? Or are these too old for that kind of thing?

Well while I was waiting for new parts for the choke, I decided to adjust the clutch. When I removed the lock nut, I found the guy I bought it from or someone else had stripped the threads on the adjustment rod. I couldn’t get the adjustment rod to turn without putting a pair of channel locks on the screw driver, this was telling me something was wrong. So now the rod pushes in and out and spins freely too freely. So guess I’ll have to take the clutch housing off to see what’s going on and replace the adjustment rod, it’s threads are beyond repair, and there is something going on with the adjustment rod. If there’s another way please let me know. The further I go the worse it gets. Thanks for any help.
