2000 scrambler 50 no spark

I have a 2000 scrambler 50 with no spark. It's not the plug or the rip cord.the starter has bin removed. the ignition switch wires have degraded and are falling out. can I jump out the switch and just use a toggle for the on and off, if so how thanks

Sounds like damaged wires are most likely your biggest problem. You can wire in a toggle switch, but I think I would just try to replace the damaged wires with new ones and use the stock switch. If you take the switch apart, you should be able to un-solder the old wires and solder new wires in, you may also want to clean up the contacts in the switch while you have it open.
