2006 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 Oil In Air Box

I've got a 06 750 brute force and its blowing oil up thro the breather box I've checked the oil in it and its a little below full and I've had the engine rebuilt less than aa year ago. Is there anything I can do to stop the oil or make it where its not getting in my carbs. Ive been told that all brute forces do this when you run them wide open for a good ways. But mine is doing this when I'm ridden it about 25 MPH and I don t think it should been doing it going that fast it really shouldn't been doing it at all . I would love to hear from somebody thats had this problem maybe you can help me out its really getting old have to work on it just ride it . The last time I rode it it pushed oil up thro the breather box and killed the engine there has got to be a way to stop it or reroute the oil.

I changed oil in it about 2 months ago and it didn't fill it all the way up to the full line I left it just a little under the full mark. When I first noticed it I called the guy and ask him about it and he told me to bring it back to there shop and they would put some kinda vent hose on it. And he was saying it would help it out I really couldn't tell that it helped it out any it seams to me that it either never helped it or got worse. I've talked to some dealers and they all have said it sounds like the rings are bad or going bad in it . Have you run into this problem or know somebody that has ??

I have not, although there are allot of posts on other forums for oil in the air box on Brute Force quads.

I do not have a Brute Force, but I do have the same problem with my LT-R. If the oil level is not over full, then it is most likely blow-by pressurizing the crankcase and pushing oil through the breather. My guess is that who ever did the rebuild cut some corners or just messed up. I would be demanding that they fix it at no charge.

well the guy that done the work on it is saying if there is something wrong that he done he will be glad to fix it no charge. But he is saying that a lot of those brute forces do that and the dealer I called said they do it but they didn't know how bad mine really wasbut new ones do the same thing. I've gotten on the internet and looked up other people that have had this problem and I've fount a lot of people that's having the same problem. And they are putting catch cans on there's and it seams to be working for them. And the way they are doing it when the engine is not running the oil is draining back into the engine. I've got the web site saved and the way they put it on there's and I'm gonna try what they did and see if it helps mine.

Yeah it is nice to know he will fix it if its something he done wrong and if thie does work out and you have any friends that run into this prob let me know and I'll send ya the web site where I seen this catch can thing. The guy that's posted it really showed every thing to do stp by step it looks like its gonna be real easy to do. When I called the dealer ship and ask them about this prob that I'm having they said yeah all brute forces do it and some do it worse than others do. I told them for the money we pay for these bikes we shouldn't have to work on them and they should be better built than what they are. I know the old Honda 300 four tracks was some good bikes and if they was all built like that we wouldn't have to much to worry about they was built to last hahaha . But anyway yeah I will let ya know if this works for me I'll be home on the 18th and I'm gonna put it on that Monday and I'll let y'all know if it works thanks for all yalls help on this.

If you wouldn't mind, post the link and I will put a new thread in the Kawasaki forum with that link and sticky the thread so it is right there for any other Brute Force owners who may run into that problem. A friend of mine used to have an '88 TRX 300 4x4, it was indestructable. He would put that thing through hell trying to keep up with the rest of us on sport quads. He didn't keep up, but the thing never quit. It was beat up and had parts strapped on with zip ties and duct tape, but it always ran. They just don't make 'em like they used to.

there are somore optoins to look at , some are taking the value adjustment covers off the intake of each cyl,an having a pipe barb either welded, or tapped into them to relive some of the crank case press from the bottom end, some just run the vent on up to the pod with a pvc value on the end an blocking off where it goes on the air box, oil in the airbox is not an uncommon issue. mine will do it when i ride long water wheelies, or run wfo over 100yds, i did the value cover mod on mine an havent had any problems since
