Just bought 07 450ER and took it out for a ride(20 min) came back in and saw oil on swing arm. Upon further inspection found it was coming from air box. Wondering if it could be to much oil ( draining and refilling both tomorrow) , or possibly something worse. Guy isn't answering any questions now smh.. thanks ahead of time

Hello,
Hoping someone can help me out. Just picked up a 2001 Recon for my son, got a good deal on it but the rear-end of the bike came in a box (pieces). I have gone through and inventoried what I have and what I need but I am not sure what size ring gear spacers I should get. I have a new pinion gear installed and a new ring gear to put in it, all of the other bearings and seals are replaced also. So since this should be pretty much like a new differential, I am thinking that "F" is the right size (1.56) based on the manual where it says this is the "standard" size. I am thinking that I need to start somewhere before I worry about measuring backlash.
Any input or advice would be appreciated.

I have a 2015 sportsman 570 in the shop currently with a cracked oil pan. It is a rental unit, (not my own rental company but a customer's) and the renter that was riding it apparently hit a large rock and dented the bottom of the skid plate into the oil pan and has cracked it where the drain bolt is. (And before any-one tells me to just JB weld it, I am not going to do that for obvious reasons relating to it failing down the trail. ) It is a quite large chunk that is broken and oil drains out about as fast as you can pour it in. I currently have the customer quoted for removing the engine and replacing the oil pan. Is this the best option? Or should I be looking into cutting the skid plate out, replacing the oil pan, and welding the skid plate back into place? Has anyone done that before?
Thanks!
