I'm reviving this sticky thread....

We NEED your help as our Events section is not much of a section at this time. All the events that were listed are pretty much expired for 2010. We will be filling events when they come in to us...BUT...could use everyone's help in posting any events that you are aware of.

January...........2nd - TRA - New Years Ride @ Interlake

  • ............10th - Redbird Trail Work

  • Harlen County Ridge Runner Ride (HCRR)- 1st & 2nd; New Years Ride

February.........TBA - TRA Cookout & Ride in Greene County with Dexter & Louie

  • HCRR Ride- 13th, Sweetheart ride

March..............Fri 19th - Sun 21st; TRA @ Lawrence County Recreation Park, ride & campout.

  • (Will be checking out area for May benefit ride.

April.................Sat 17th - TRA Redbird work day and ride

  • HCRR Ride - 10th, Ramp Fest

May.................Sat 8th - Sun 9th - TRA Miracle Ride with Abate at LCRP

  • HCRR Ride - 1st, Lightning Bug Ride

  • HCRR Ride - 29th, Pig Roast

June................TRA Week Ride; Fri 4th - Sun 13th ; Hatfield & McCoy/Evarts, Ky Combo ride

TWO MAN TAG TEAM RACE APRIL 1 ST

NEAR MYRTLE BEACH SC 4X4 AND ATV'S , BACKWOODS COUNTRY TAG TEAM RACE, THIS MEANS THAT ONE DRIVER WILL COMPLETE A TRAIL RUN, THEN THE OTHER DRIVER WILL COMPLETE THE SAME TRACK APPOX THREE MILES, THERE WILL BE A REALLY NICE WALL PLAQUE FOR BOTH DRIVERS, THAT WIN FIRST PLACE. OTHER PRIZE FOR SECOND AND THIRD. TEN DOLLARS TO ENTER YOUR RIG, AFTER FEB FIFTEENTH IS FIFTEEN DOLLARS TO SIGN UP. REGULAR GATE FEES APPLY. . THE TENTATIVE DATE IS THE WEEKEND OF APRIL 1st . two rigs are needed for this race. North Carolinas Jeep, ATV & 4x4 Off-Road Park and Camping Carolina Backwoods. 910-287-5695 AND OF COURSE, WE WILL HAVE FAMILY GAMES

Its also under the main menu when you drop down the browse menu. Here is an example of an added event (embedded in a post with the url of the event):

      Hi everyone. 
      Let me explain the thread title. 
      My husband and I are very active in the nudist community, and we have stayed at many and most of the mainstream nudist and clothing optional campgrounds in the USA. We are now approaching our retirement and would like to start a podcast to share those off the road / backwoods / little known camping areas where nudity is allowed. We have purchased a 5th wheel camping trailer with a rear garage for the ATV and now need some good reports on the one to buy. 
      We are most interested in a side by side unit but would love to get your thoughts. 
      Feel free to stop by and say Hi and ask anything you would like to better understand what we are looking for in an offroad unit.

      Have you ever purchased a quad from an impound auction?

      This is something I'm extremely curious about. Has anyone ever attempted to buy a quad (or any other vehicle) from an impound lot? I've always wondered if this could be a bargain, or a waste of time. Google searches do turn up some helpful results. Looks like the state of NJ holds auctions online which I'd be a bit hesitant about.
       
      My online searches haven't really turned up any results of anyone buying an ATV this way. I'd be really curious if anyone tried this, or knows someone who has. I've actually found a couple pages with online auctions for my state, but none had ATVs.
