I have a 2003 kodiac. New to me, great bike. It seems I have developed a oil leak at the rear. Sems to be coming from the boot that comes out of the transmission.

Has anyone had to replace a seal back there or is there another area the leak may be coming from?

Thanks for any help.

Please edit your title to include year make and model stating oil leak.

Yes I know what it is now but if you put it in the title someone that has one might see the thread and decide to view it and try to help.

I can't help in this cause I don't have a clue about the Kodiak. I have a Warrior.

Sorry I couldn't help

Chasing oil leaks can be exhausting; gravity likes to pull it all sorts of non-leaking areas before it actually drips. Have you cleaned everything very well...like white glove test well? Doing so will help you identify the source much quicker and with fewer $$$ spent.

I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual)
I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives.
Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?

I am trying to diagnose a no spark issue with my 02 Big Bear 400 and I am really hoping it is not a CDI.  I have done the test on the stator and I believe that is faulty.  I ordered a new aftermarket one from a the jungle website and it tested bad right out of the box so I am waiting for a different one to arrive from an ATV parts supplier.  I started looking out of curiosity at CDI units and it seems if it is for a big bear you are SOL.  Kodiaks, no problem.  Big Bear. No such luck.

Hey all, BruinBeater here.  Just joined up from the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Got a Polaris Sportsman 1000 and a 570 in the garage that don't get ridden quite enough but looking forward to a family trip this fall.
I'm the unofficial mechanic of the extended family.  In the past month or so I've replaced a transmission in a Chevy Silverado, rust repair on a Chevy Malibu, electrical repair on a Subaru Crosstrek, overheating issue solved on a Can Am Commander, and right now I have a pair of Grizzly and a Bruin 350 in the garage.  Both have a no start condition and have been sitting for 2+ years.
