Hello from Kansas! I dont have an ATV yet, just doing the research first. I sold a motorcycle and wanted to replace it with a utility ATV. Ive been lurking for a while and now that I have the money for a ATV, decided it was time to join and take advantage of all the info available here.

      Starter not staying engaged while cranking

      Hi all,
      Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

      Good morning, checking in from Southern Ontario, I have 3 quads. 201 Honda Forman 450S, 2007 Suzuki King quad 450 and a 2021 Polaris 570 sportsman. My wife and I do a fair amount of riding but hoping to do more this year.
