Anyone have any tricks to removing front hub bearings? i tried a blind bearing puller, drift punch from opposite sides. Could i press out the bearings and inner race as one assembly or is the race part of the hub? I heard of a oven trick but cant find it anyone know it?

i bought a 1/2" drive socket and a 5lb hammer. the socket had just a little play inside where the

bearing seats. i also took the hubs off to make it easier. i suppose you could heat it if it's in good. but i

had good luck with the big maul and socket

I tried pressing them out with a 20 ton press with no luck. I heated them in the oven at 350° for 20 min and popped the bearings out with a drift punch and hammer with very little force. There is a machined lip on the inside of the hub preventing the bearings from being pressed out

Yeah the only thing that sucks about small shops is the turn around time. He has answered all my questions truthfully and keeps me informed as to what step he is on the motor.

Looking for two stock front wheels for 92 TRX300 2WD.   I think they are 6 x11" size.

I recently noticed my Fourtrax 2WD has 4WD wheels installed on the front.  The back spacing is significantly different than 2WD wheels and they are almost touching the strut springs and the tires actually do touch the springs..   So far, no luck locating 2WD wheels to correct this issue.

Hi, I am new to this forum I am currently working on my 1989 Yamaha front end.  The cv axles were bad so I changed them on both sides with all new wheel bearings. Now I'm looking at the front brakes and the 2 cylinders for the brake shoes on both sides do not work at all. I am also new at working on brakes so its a mystery to me what needs to be done to fix the cylinders.  Can somebody please help me with these brake issues? See the image below.
      Thank you,
      Olchap

Recently rebuilt front end on this Polaris 400. New axles, bearings, seals, control arm bushings, Hilliard clutch thoroughly cleaned and inspected with no damage noted.
Everything put back to together. Placed bike on jack stands all four wheels off the ground, started in 2 WD switched to AWD both front tires spinning, when AWD turned
off right front wheel will not disengage from AWD. Checked voltage at connectors both left and right connectors have no voltage with AWD switch off, and both have 12.4V
when AWD switch is turned on. Repeated turning switch on and off several times with no change in condition. I am thinking this must be something mechanical with the
Hilliard clutch on the right hub ie. weak spring or stuck rollers on the Hilliard clutch assembly (Is this a logical thought?) any ideas on trouble shooting this before I disassemble the
      right front hub again
