Just got a new brute force a few weeks and man this thing is nice. Every bit of info i read on it is exactly true, my last for wheeler i had was an 20 some year old honda Honda. Now i have the " bug " again mid-life crisis sh** i guess. This machine is very peppy on low-mid range torque, is very easy to operate, even in emergency cases. Rides like a dream, this machine also loves to climb, trust me......lol. Now i wish i would have purchased a 4x4, but stuck to my guns and told myself " If i need fourwheel drive to get out of a situation, then i dont need to be there. Thats why i have winch on the front . All i can say is ,Good power, torque, manueverability, and it has some good speed on the road....i saw 52 on the speedo, but i'm 44 yrs old thats out of my blood now. .Still some wildness left in me........................ MY MAIN QUESTIONS ARE DOES K/N OR SOMEONE PUT OUT AN AIRFILTER, AND WOULD LIKE A HI-PERFORMANCE SPARKPLUG................. OR ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP...............LOL GOT THAT CRAVING FOR A LITTLE MORE POWER. THANKS ALL !!!!!!

A K/N would be nice, i swear by them ,even they're oil filters,if there is a application for anything K/N " I'm on it "

As far as the muffler goes dont wanna get too loud.............anybody know of some decent not so loud mufflers,,i wanna respect the neighbers. The more i ride that machine the more i love it. I would put it up against any same size class atv being made today, with no mods. ....... and i'm afraid that my Brute Force would come out on top. No mud yet !! It has been to dry out.

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.

Howdy y'all, I'm trying to fix a neighbors 2015 Brute Force 300. Came in with hard to start and won't idle except on choke issue. I pulled the carb and found the pilot jet as well as the emulsion tube partially clogged. Cleaned up everything, put it back together, still having issues...  It will start right up on choke and will also start off choke if you give it just a touch of throttle but it absolutely will not idle unless it's choked just a touch. Also, excuse my ignorance but I'm assuming the "dial" thingy attached to the carb that turns in and out is for setting idle??

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!
