  1. I hope this is right form is not point me the right place. I have just brought a 07 king quad 700. Its got 14 rims with 28 tires. Can't remember what brand right now. What I would like is a programmer and a clutch kit for it. I'm used to diesel trucks really new to the fuel injected quads. Let me know what my bike needs thanks.

  4. I have a 1997 Honda fourtrax 300. It runs great but, I almost got stuck in the mud this weekend so, I am now thinking about mud tires and some minor mods. What do you guys suggest for some minor modifications to get some better performance? It performs pretty good but, sometimes when driving pretty hard, the clutch slips a little. I am also thinking about a lift kit. Which one would yall recommend?
  5. Been busy the last little while finishing a bathroom for the wife while the dealer did some work on my Can-Am. Before you say, "What the hell did ya take it to the dealer for ??" ...... let me finish my "What Have YOU Done for Your ATV Today ??" report ....... When I took the tracks off, I noticed both the front and the rear diff seals were leaking and there a pin hole in the front inner CV boot down inside one of the boot creases ... so, after talking to the dealer (who BTW, seems to ALWAYS treat me right) said he could have it all fixed in a couple hours once he had the parts in hand. So I took it in and first, he ordered two diff seals right ?? ... Well BRP in their infinite wisdom, thought that must be a mistake & only sent ONE seal .... so after the other seal comes in they start the work and when the pull the front axle to change that boot .... the CV joint fell apart !! They said they had never seen that before, there was plenty of grease in the boot, so ... ?? ..... Anyway, they ordered a new one .... under warranty !! ........ Now is THAT cool or what !!?? .... So I wait a few more days to get my bike fixed ... and in the mean time, I had been ordering stuff !! First, I bought several 15 ft rolls of the DEI Titanium Header Wrap and Re-Double-Wrapped my header pipes. The old DEI header wrap was 2yrs old & it just kinda fell apart and came off in pieces and some had just burnt away too. Next, I had heard about a "High Performance Water Pump Impeller" for the Can-Am's but I could NOT find out where to buy one. After about a year of searching, I found out they're made in Czechoslovakia. I contacted the guy but he didn't want to send just one because he said shipping would be expensive. Then I found a guy who has been making frames for that guy & said he would order a batch next time he did a shipment ... but I have no idea when that would be. So, asking around again and making some more phone calls, I found a performance shop in Canada that had some ... it was a lot more ... but I ordered one anyway. This impeller is suppose to move 40% more water. And you might ask, "Did I Really Need It ??" ....... and my reply is, "What a silly question !!" After taking the stock plastic one out, I noticed some of the vanes look pretty beat up. Not sure if that's the way it was new, or if the heat was breaking it down ?? While my bike was down, I spent some time talking with my dealer about suspension and shocks. I told him I really wanted to get some Elka's, but didn't want to spend a ton of cash. He told me he was a dealer for Fox shocks already and he would call Elka to see what it would take to become an Elka shock dealer as well. So, two days later, he gives me a call and told me was now a dealer for Elka shocks and that he would give me a good deal if I wanted to order a set. So I make a mad dash down to the dealer & order a set of Stage 2+R's. And boy, did he give me a GREAT deal !! And with these shocks I knew the Rubberdown Lift I had wouldn't work (at the rear anyway), so I ordered a Highlifter Lift Kit. After all that work, I greased it, changed the tranny and engine oil & filter. Now all I have left to do is install the skid plates, gas her up ........ AND GO FOR A RIDE !! :partyc: ...
  6. Just got a new brute force a few weeks and man this thing is nice. Every bit of info i read on it is exactly true, my last for wheeler i had was an 20 some year old honda Honda. Now i have the " bug " again mid-life crisis shit i guess. This machine is very peppy on low-mid range torque, is very easy to operate, even in emergency cases. Rides like a dream, this machine also loves to climb, trust me......lol. Now i wish i would have purchased a 4x4, but stuck to my guns and told myself " If i need fourwheel drive to get out of a situation, then i dont need to be there. Thats why i have winch on the front . All i can say is ,Good power, torque, manueverability, and it has some good speed on the road....i saw 52 on the speedo, but i'm 44 yrs old thats out of my blood now. .Still some wildness left in me........................ MY MAIN QUESTIONS ARE DOES K/N OR SOMEONE PUT OUT AN AIRFILTER, AND WOULD LIKE A HI-PERFORMANCE SPARKPLUG................. OR ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP...............LOL GOT THAT CRAVING FOR A LITTLE MORE POWER. THANKS ALL !!!!!!

  10. hello i recently picked up an 03 polaris predator 500 what are some good mods to do to get some more low end torque out of it. It has an fmf slip on and supposedly a jet kit other than that it's all stock.

  12. Just got an exhuast power tip for the 400, and it really opened it up. I used to think it wasn't very fast at all, but now this thing's got snort! You can get them on ebay for almost any quad and they include the bolts and a spark arrestor screen. If you're looking for noticablly more power and give your quad a mean exhuast note, you should check these out. Worth every bit of 30 bucks.

  14. Some of you know that I'm looking at replacing my dad's dirt bike with a atv. We found a really nice 07 raptor 350 for a good price on ebay. What are some cheap mods/adjustments that can help get more power out of a 350? Thanks
  15. Well hello there, I just recently registered, so Hi to all of you. I bought a 1999 Yamaha Breeze for $1000 about two years ago. It was a fun bike when I first bought it, I was only about 90 pounds and about 14 years old. I started riding when I was 7 or 8, Dad bought me a Suzuki 80. Raced in NH a couple times and decided to try and race dirtbikes. Didn't like it and went back to 4 wheels. I bought the Breeze and went trail riding with my older neighbor atleast once a week during the summer. Soon began having idle problems and carb issues, so I let it sit for about 6 months. Just recently brought it to the shop and got it all tuned up and running great. My neighbor just bought a new 450, and the thing rips, I am still only about 100 pounds and about 5'3. I feel kind of left out of the fun, I got a automatic that really can't keep up to any of my friends. Is there anything I can do to make it pick up quicker, sound better, even look better? I am willing to sink money into it if it will be worth it. I have looked for aftermarket parts, but I seem to be out of luck. The plastics on the bike are gray and scratched, it is not a very attractive quad. Any suggestions for me? I may buy an older blaster soon if I can't find some joy in riding my 125. I just don't feel like buying another used quad at the moment, and don't have the money for a new raptor 250.
  16. I have a 2005 300ex. Bought it brand new in Feb. 2008 as a leftover model, I got it reaaaaaally cheap. I showed up to buy a 450r and left with a 300ex cause it was 6k cheaper. im pleased with it, it does everything I need it too. mods: HMF Slip on, Shock covers, jetted, moose handguards, and maxxis razr2 tires. putting the tires on today. hopefully test them out after work tonight, im excited. I will post my input on them after I test them. Thanks to stoopidbot for helping me with my tire decision. Im confident I will be happy with my choice.
  17. ive seen some crazy shit and im planing on building my own crazy lil 2-stroke monster. im going to buy a 500cc kit from trinity racing. and putting it on a panther mini buggie. crazy fast engine for a light weight frame. www.desertkarts.com if u want to look at the frames thier pretty sweet. tell me your mods of these monsters and give me feed back on mine:2guns:
