    My friends....

  2. I need some advice on my 700 kingquad. I recently went out into some deep water (not sure if this is the issue or not) I did not submerge past the seat all the way, however I did wheelie out of it with the back end submerged for 5 seconds. I realized after I did this that you could hear the engine going up in rpm's but there was no power to the wheels after a point. You could only hear the whailing of the engine. Could someone lead me in the right direction... basic knowledge would be to check air filter, belt housing for water, spark plug. Otherwise I am at a loss. Thanks in advance!

How to check timing on a 700 Grizz

I'm going to check the valve clearance on my 2011 Grizz 700 for the first time and I'm also wanting to check the timing, but I'm not sure how to do it. What tool (light gun?) do I need for this job and how is it done?

    05 700 King Quad

Feul pump went out. Replaced. At times quad cuts out like its not getting gas. Saw article on new pump needs to be calibrated. Told how to go into a service mode. Does not tell how to calibrate after going into mode. Can anyone shed light on this procedure.

    grizzly 700 fuel pump

HELP, i have a 2009 yamaha grizzly 700 yfm7fgpy special edition with a defective fuel pump and am wanting to know how to test it to know if it is defective or not
  6. I recently picked up a king quad 700 that doesn't run in the hopes of getting it running by spring. It had been previously taken apart some and a few pieces are missing in the engine, but the frame is complete and in good condition. The motor will need a piston, rings, cylinder, cams, and a few misc parts that are missing. Also the cases will need to be split to remove the pieces of piston that are in the crankcase. The piston blew up at high rpm and did a number on the cylinder so I'm trying to find out if it would be worth rebuilding this motor it buying another engine to swap in. There may be more damage to this engine that I can see so I was wondering how bad the insides of it could be considering it destroyed the piston. I have found a motor for 1200 plus 200 shipping, the only problem is I don't have that much now and I would have to save up a while before being able to afford it. Any suggestions appreciated.
  7. Just unboxed the SW and I'm trying to figure out where some of these parts will be installed. For the most part everything seems straight forward but I'm having trouble deciding where these should go... Piece on the right is the solenoid (and is maybe called a 'contactor' in some of the utube install videos i've seen) and piece on the left is the circuit breaker. Best advice I've gotten is to install both of these 'under the hood.' Here's mine... I was hoping to convey a better sense of the space in there but a pic doesn't seem to be doing it really. Anyway the plastic piece that covers all this lies fairly close to the top of everything leaving not a lot of extra room. There's a slim chance I can find a solid piece of something in there to mount the smaller circuit breaker piece to, but far as the larger solenoid piece goes there's only one place I can possibly see it going, and that's in this hole here that goes back just behind the battery... But because it's going back in there so far there's no way of securing it to anything. Best idea would be to get everything generally in place and installed wire wise, then wrap the solenoid in layers of thin sheet styrofoam like material I've seen in packing materials. Wrap as much as possible and slide back into the hole for a snug fit. And if a solid mounting option under the hood doesn't present itself for the smaller circuit breaker piece I suppose it could be installed the same way. Don't like the idea of things shaking around in there but as long as there's no problem with the solenoid wires touching the styrofoam wrap I figure I can just keep a close watch on how the wrapping is wearing and replace when needed. Now onto where to mount the remote plug-in socket... Any suggestions? And last I need to identify a switched power wire somewhere under the hood on the old '11 700 Grizz to hook into. Can I get a good description of this wire or maybe a picture to be sure? Install manual says to use a wire coming from the 'vehicle ignition key switch.' review... 1) Any alternative suggestions as to where to mount the solenoid or ideas on wrapping it up and mounting it in the hold? 2) Ideas on where to install the remote winch plug in port? 3) Idea where to tap into a switched power line under the hood? Picture would be helpful. .
  8. Good Afternoon! Woke up this morning to these pictures, how difficult a repair is this? I think this is just a seal? How do you get the driveshaft out to replace it? Sorry this is my first issue with this bike, trying to keep the cost down.
  9. I just bought my first quad... a 2008 Arctic Cat 700 efi. Im having some issues with the ignition. If I turn it all the way to the right I loose power but back it off just a little and everything comes back and it will start Does this sound familiar to anyone and do you think the ignition has to be changed or can it be repaired?
  10. I hope this is right form is not point me the right place. I have just brought a 07 king quad 700. Its got 14 rims with 28 tires. Can't remember what brand right now. What I would like is a programmer and a clutch kit for it. I'm used to diesel trucks really new to the fuel injected quads. Let me know what my bike needs thanks.
  11. here's the deal, was riding it all day long, i started noticing a random popping noise coming out of the exhaust pipe, was anything to loud but would randomly do that. After about 3 hours of riding the bike started to hestiate, did that a few times so i just started to give it more gas and then i came to a stop and it was like the bike was misfiring or something and then it would stall. It was doing that for a few times, would keep stalling. Then i tried to start it up and it wouldnt start just kept cranking and cranking. then if i turned the key off and let it sit for a minute or to it would start back up. Then when i continued to ride it seemed like the bike didnt have any power and kept wanting to stall. i would put it into neutral and rev it up and it seemed to do a little better. Not sure what the problem is. I havent messed with it yet but i figured i would put this on here first to get some quich pointers or to see if anyone else had this same problem. I have no fi light or anything comming on.

    Suzuki kingquad 700 and 750

Wondering if the engine cases are the same for Suzuki kingquads 700 and 750.my cases on my 750 are broke and I can't find used 750 cases I have found used 700 cases though. Was wondering if I could use bottom end from 700 and put the top end from 750 would it work?
  13. I appreciate any ones help. My son but a battery charger on the battery in reverse by mistake for 5 minutes. I changed the battery but there is no activity when I turn the key on. I checked the fuses . Still no electric . Any help tks,Joe
  14. I have a 06 Suzuki kingquad that wouldnt crank when I bought it the fi light was on and I cleaned electrical connections and put new battery in it and it cranking it's loud though, when I bought it they said it was rebuilt up to a 750 and it's only been cranked 2 times since the rebuild and its leaking oil around the front of the headwhere the exhaust meets and out the eexhaust, I jus changed the oil and filter to see if it helped with the smoking it's doing also the smoke is blue and grey didn't really smell like oil but now it's starting to, I'm not sure what to do with it.
  15. It was running fine getting a little hard to start in this cold weather. I replaced the spark plugs. Tried to start it and no go.... No spark at all! The stator was replaced by local bike shop about 3 months ago. What can it be? The hour icon started showing with the mileage. Only other thing I did was put a charger on the battery because it was getting low trying to start. How can a simple plug change cause this?
  16. Howdy, I have an issue with my Raptor 700, Last weekend I was out and about and the rear axel bearing Failed... Badly!! and im in the process of trying to change the bearings, Has anyone got any Tips on how to get the old bearings Out? or where I can get a new Rear Spacer for cheap, I don't really want to spend £60 for what seems to be just a bit of pipe
  17. Just got a twin peaks looking for some accessories racks extensions bumpers etc just wanting deck it out. New or used don.t much matter cant find much on ebay lol.
  18. i finally done the smart thing and done away with the throttle body on my 05 700 king quad. this is just the temporary parts that i used to make sure it would work, my carb is way too small for this engine, ------------------------------------------------------- parts needed. carb. big enough to run a 700, the one i am testing with is off my 06 honda rancher 4x4 350 cc, using 2 pieces of 1 1/2 pvc 2 inches long each. 1 1/2 pvc 90 fuel tank to mount in place of the original airbox ------------------------------------ remove the old throttle body, and airbox. i am also removing the original fuel tank, gonna mount full size deep cycle battery in place of the original fuel tank remove the intake boot off the engine. bevel one end of a piece of pvc. use a good sharp knife and trim the inside of the intake boot just enough to get the pvc at least an inch deep, tighten clamp use the other piece of pvc to attach the carb to, got lucky and was able to use the throttle cable on the carb, mount new airbox with filter to other end of carb. im using an old shop vac hose hooked onto the airbox intake. route this hose to the front end of 4wheeler. attach to piece of pvc pointed straight up bout 2foot above front rack, attach 2 90 elbows at the top for a turn down mount choke cable anywhere you want it. im putting mine on the handle bars im mounting the fuel tank off the honda in place of the original airbox. trust me this does work. the 4wheeler still fires and runs good even with too small of a carb. i dont even have everything mounted permanent yet , as of right now the whole new intake is held together with electrical tape, just wanted to make sure it would work before i spent the time to do it right, tomorrow i will post update and try to upload pics of the completed job
  19. does anybody know if the meter on a newer raptor 700 will work on an 07 model. i know you half to change the hood out. but i mean like the tach/ speed/hour/time. cost on that meter is 266 so i dont want to buy it if it wont work..
