Hi!

I own a rancher at 2004 since few months and works perfectly. However i realized that when i climb a hill especially rough one, or when i doing a donut in the sand, transmission seems to slip for about one second. I can hear the motor rolling free and feel like i'm going to neutral. I had this summer to carry a broken polaris in a trailer and my honda did a great job and no slipping, but when I "shake it"a little it may slip! I read it could be an oil problem(low level). Is anyone ever had this problem or noticed it? Thanks a lot!

I did on motor oil. 650 km ago. That was Last june. It seems like tranny use motor oil fromage what i ve learned. However i didnt change front and rear gear oil yet.

it doesn't look like an issue at this point unless i'm wrong.

My front brakes started dragging and the lever travel was minimal. I bled them and topped off the fluid reservoir and they worked great for a while and now the problem has returned. I'm thinking that a piston may be sticking. Any thoughts on this problem?

My 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 is still going strong but the battery has not been holding a charge. I replaced it a few years back and have been jumping it lately but after sitting for a few days, it drains out. I recently purchased two car batteries from Weize directly because it was a good price for an AGM. I looked on weize for a YTX20HL-BS and its an AGM at $59.99. I believe they have a promo code you can find. Found it cheaper on Amazon and intalled it yesterday.

I ended up buying the same one on Amazon which is $49.99 with a $20% coupon bringing it down to $39.99, which is a pretty good price for an ATV AGM battery.

Just a heads up if anyone needs a new ATV/UTV battery going into winter.
YTX20HL-BS fits a a good amount of models.

So.. it a weird one.. The quad surges as you go down the road. By the looks of my tracks, it's one wheel only. High range, low range, 2 wd , 4 wd.. It just doesn't matter..
You can see in the pictures the marks it leaves. That was in a straight line, with hardly any acceleration.
      Any ideas?

I have a rancher 420 TM that since i bought it has a cold hard shift problem beyond a doubt clutch is not releasing by shift lever. After it gets good and hot it shifts ok. Tried preloading adjustment screw clutch releases and shifts smooth but slips. Have had the clutch out and apart twice for inspection and didnt see anything wrong. Any tips will be appreciated. I've ran out of things to try instead of throwing new parts at it.

2014 Honda Rancher TRX420TM1: Unit starts right up, once it warms up it stalls and more difficult to start but once it does start it won't stay running. I have replaced the fuel assembly, IACV, O2 sensor and fuel injector. There are no active DTC codes. Disconnecting fuel line at injector and turning on key there is a steady stream of fuel. Plug looks good did not see crack in ceramic. Is there any way to test the ignition coil?

      Thanks for any help.
