1985 Honda 200s ATC - Carb Question

I have replaced my oem carb with one that says its oem replacement (brand new). The problem I'm having is at idle it sounds like its sputtering like it wants to die out but when I'm on the throttle its running great. When I barley put my hand over the air filter hole it completely dies out. I have tried playing with the air screw adjusting it to the 2 1/4 turns out like the manual says and its still having the same problems. Can anyone point me in the right direction to help solve the problem. Now I bought a new one cause my old oem carb the idle screw on my original carb kept backing out. Please can someone help me I'm at my wits end at this point. Please help please

      Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.

      Have you ever been on the trail and your tire valve goes bad. No way to break down the wheel and replace it. A lot of you probably know about this already i had heard of it but never used one. Just punch out the old one insert and tighten down the nut

      '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX Carb issue.

      My name says it all. I have a '03 Honda Sporttrax 400EX with a new aftermarket carb on it that seems to be having issues. I can start it but it idles really rough and when I give it throttle it just kills the engine. I have tried adjusting the idle screw but to no avail. I am in the San Diego Ca area. 
      Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to get an owners manual for the thing too but can't seem to find a downloadable one.
