2005 / 06 Honda 680 Rincons are pretty much bullet proof but the 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 has more features like locking front differential, hi & lo range, more power, better brakes but they have issues like water easily getting into the air box, leaking oil seals, electrical issues ect... I know later year BF 750"s are more reliable but I cant afford a newer model.

Any owners willing to tell me their experiences with these models will very much help me to decide which to get. Please don't tell me to buy something else as I prefer independent rear suspension and don't like Polaris models.

well ive had good luck with the kawasakis... I do know that there has been some issues with the water in the air box but that is an easy fix with a short snorkel ...as for electrical issues on them ive not ran into any as of yet .. but have heard of some ...oil leaks will happen with both machines ...just the nature of small motors that run hot ...

I also know that the Honda will cost a lot to have fixed if you ever have tranny issues ..its a good machine but will break the bank if it ever needs to have any repairs done that the average atv guy dosent do or don't know how to do it ...

as far as power and torque ..the Kawasaki wins that hand down..

I have owned several kawasakis and currently have 2 V-twinn machines ..

I have also owned several Honda 4x4 atvs and they are good machines also.. just never had any good luck with Hondas electric shift system..

butt any way if it was me buying another 4x4 atv I would buy the Kawasaki ..

but I wouldent buy eather 1 if they are hi miles and hi hour machines...

hope this helps ...

I was looking to buy a new ATV.
I was debating between Polaris sportsman 450 and Honda rancher.
      Polaris it a bit cheaper.
But can you tell me which one will have more demand on the used market? Which one will keep it's value better?

I rebuilt the carb on said machine. When I hook up the auxiliary gas tank it runs fine and everything is cool. When I put the fuel tank on and hooked up the lines, it completely flooded the cylinder and even about an inch of fuel in the air box. I'm pretty sure that it comes from the little hose on the petcock and hooks to the top of the carb. WTH is that even for? I mean the thing runs fine on the auxiliary tank, so idk And on the petcock when it's in the "on" position, I get no fuel. The petcock from the bike I took it apart and checked out how it operates. The sharpie marks indicate how it really works. Now the other petcock w/o the sharpie marks is an old one that was leaking that I removed from a Polaris quad. It's exactly the same thing, except the small hose and nipple have been removed. I'm so confused, LOL

I'm working on a 2002 Polaris Sportsman 400 with shift indicator problems. The indicator panel only will show Neutral and Reverse. If it's in High or Low, the indicator will show "R".
I have replaced the three position indicator switch on the transmission. There is also a two position switch on the tranny that I didn't replace. If anyone is familiar with this problem, please let me know what I need to do. Any help is greatly appreciated!
