I am thinking about buying a 2009 King Quad 450 LT-A450X. I hunt, fish, ride, plow in Alaska. Need to pass my 93 KQ down to a boy and want to upgrade. Just wondering what the members thing about this rig?

I found one on ebay. Shipping in on disk so I will share it when I get it.

So, reading the user manual, it mentions in 4WD using either the front or rear brakes alone will break all 4 wheels. There is a caution about it while riding up and down hills because the downhill brakes will be actuated. Is this true? seems like a goofy way to design the system.

Went for a little shake down ride today. Bit of a gear rattle shifting into gear. Got my service manual yesterday will investigate.

Brought my boys vintage KQs but neglected to charge the batteries after they sat in the cold the last 4 months. Some sad faces until I let them take a spin on this. Then my face got sad watching them tear off. Oh, the agony of parenthood...

First full weekend out. Got my front accessories setup. M1A rifle with folding stock so I can grab it quick for close encounters. Mirror to check if my children are still following. Water proof case for my BlackBerry Z10 with charger.
