  1. Today
  2. Smart...especially if loaded...I stop after 2 miles and tighten straps. then again after 45 minutes or so and feel hubs or use my scanner and pee. LOL.
  3. Good idea to check them so you Know what you are dealing with to begin with! FYI: I checked the Wheel Bearings in LA. as well as N.Michigan before heading Home from these trips!
  4. I am going to pull wheels and check bearings. But if Ok i'll leave bearing buddies on.
  5. I've used "Bearing Buddies" on ALL my Trailers for years -Never had a Problem! -I towed my 5'x8' Enclosed Trailer with my Harley Lowrider from Fl, to LA.& back without Any concerns. Same trailer w/ Harley, towed from Daytona to N.Michigan & back to Pt. Charlotte,Fl.-again NO Problems!
  6. It is heavy empty....I did not want to "strain my Milk" as guys say....Whatever that means...LOL
  7. The 53 Qt freezer/ refrigerator has a basket for freezer compartment so I can put empty freezer in car without straining ..its heavy. Then put the basket of frozen food in.
  8. For now just leave it as is. It has "Bearinng Buddies" on it I am not sureI like those.

  10. Well, If trailer has the SxS on it the tail gate probably wont add any mor air drag than SxS. If empty the gate will lay flat on trailer. You figure?
  11. Depends on the velocity of the umm "air"
  12. NICE,Looks very Good ! Use Thompson's Water Seal on the PT Decking ,works great ! Leave the Ramp as is it'll come in handy! Hope this one does what you want/need! Air Drag would be VERY Minimal !
  13. Gate is huge! pressure washed it working on getting rid of my suntan lines...so deck looks good but need to add some type of finish to it.
  14. It's got a 4 ft gate. I want to maybe cut it in half or eliminate it...air drag on long trips.. You Think?
  15. Nothing wrong with cheap, sounds like a nice rig, steel is good , doesnt break like aluminum, if you have a mishap. I do love aluminum though shiny no rust and pretty.very little maintenance to keep it looking good.
  16. The Carvee 53 qt compressor freezer /refrigerator just fits in my car. You can see it is a snug fit but easy to get at and open.
  17. I am a cheap A__! I got a steel 12 ft x 6 steel trailer. Its light with angle iron side rails. Singleaxle15 Inch wheels.
  18. Last week
  19. Wouldn't hurt ! I found some Coil over shocks on E bay for under 200 all 4 ! Made a heck of a difference on my 03 Forman 450 !!
  20. That size trailer could possibly be a tandem axel trailer which would be good for your hauling needs.
  21. That's not not a bike, that's a lawn aerator. tom
  22. Certainly more options for ties in the 15' category. they do tow better. Also every walmart or farm store across the usa has them on the shelf is you need one on the trip.
  23. I suppose I could throw a set of shocks at it. It is super old but also very low hours and miles. Normally I ride a kawasaki prairie 700. 2005. Solid rear axle, swing arm setup. Even with old hard bear claw tires that things rides like a dream compared to everything else I have been on.
  24. My 2025 Kodiak is the smoothest ive been on !! ELKA's coming soon on all 4 corners !! But I have a 2003 foreman which runs great but is not a soft ride LOL I ride a trx 450r sport quad sometimes ride with Work shocks all around Thousand in shocks but not as smooth as the Kodiak
  25. That size sounds like it would work better & an Axle with 15" Wheels definetly be better !
  26. Yeah long trips with 190 inch wheels would be bad ...I found a Triton frame with need of an axle. 14 feet over all and 78 inch wide frame.
  27. I have one with 12 inch wheels, trailer tires and i have one with regular car size tires, 15 inch, it tows a lot better on long trips. 6x10 is a large trailer for 10 inch wheels.

Hey guys and gals. I've been working on my friends 2007 big bear IRS. Unfortunately after 3 different people got their hands on it and only made things worse every time.  After months of finding just crazy problems everywhere. I'm finally at the point we're its almost 100% !!! But I'm getting a short somewhere between the 4xW switch I believe. I managed to by searching the internet like a  fiend, got my hands on an official Yamaha wire harness for the year and make. But I don't have the numbered component list and to be honest. After hours of going through and making everything so it's  easy to reference. If anyone has a picture of the referenced components. I would be forever in your debt. I've spent hours marking up the blown up diagram so it will be easy, for any possible future repairs. Please and thank you. Here's a picture of what i have so far.  Unsealed it in plastic so oil and crap won't spill or get smudged. This damn things worth it's weight in gold.              Thanks Jeff                2007 Yamaha big bear 400 IRS.       YFM40FBW
