  2. Lots of modern machines with resistor leads or caps have a very thin spark, and often don't show up so good in bright light. As long as the spark is blue and not yellow it will be ok. Sparks can be produced but then lost by shorting down the side of the spark plug porcelain if the cap or rubber boot is cracked, wet or dirty. Spark can look fine, and jump the gap when the plug's resting on the head testing it, but not jump the gap when there is compression. It takes a lot better spark to jump through compressed air. Stale fuel can foul sparkplugs without the engine even starting up. Just a few ignitions of old stale fuel while trying to start them, and a slow burn inside the cylinder, and a brand new plug can be fouled.

  3. I thought the rear brakes were spring actuated with a rod going to the hub arm from petal , no master cylinder for rear, unless im understanding wrong, only mater cylinder for the front, this is for your 2000 300 right. There are wing nuts on the end of the rod from the petal to adjust brake tension and cable going from the hand lever to rear brake.

  5. You could and it might be ok for a while but it's a sign something's leaking. You probably need to bleed it to find the leak though so it might as well be done.

  6. New guy here. I rode dirt bikes starting at about 6 years old up until 13. Dads best friend was killed on his street bike in 1981 and my dad sold his bikes so I quit riding too. Step-father bought a brand new 2013 Suzuki King Quad 500 and rode it around his yard 99% of the time and plowed their driveway. He passed away this past August so my mother gave me his quad. Has 1067 miles on it and is in very good condition. I'm new to ATV's so will have a bunch of questions. I'm 54 and plan to do some trail riding. Lower speed, no mudding, etc. Nice calm riding
